my last period started 8 weeks ago and lasted 3 weeks (i have iregualr periods the whole time btw!) i only started my 1st peirod 18 months ago (im 15) and now i keep feeling like my periods coming.. but it doesnt.. its never been this long before.. shouldn't it have come by now?

I'm 44 and am at a higher risk for osteoporosis without any estrogen. However, endometrial cancer is estrogen dependent, so my thought is it wouldn't be wise to take it for risk of recurrence elsewhere. I can deal with the other menopausal symptoms, but am concerned about bone loss since I would typically have had several more years of estrogen before hitting menopause. Any alternatives or thoughts?

the coworker call in to work because her son broke his toe and needed medical treatment. As the employer does not allow time off for a child her doc wrote out an excuse for her that she was unable to work. The employer contact the docs office and obtained the real reason she was off. Is this a violation of HIPAA? they used this information to deny her holiday pay.

I AM 24 YEARS OLD AND I HAVE A PERIOD THAT HAS LASTED FOR 8 MONTHS. I'VE WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AFTER BLEEDING FOR 3 MONTHS AND I WAS TOLD THIS IS NORMAL FOR SOME WOMEN AND NOT TO WORRY. AFTER 5 MONTHS OF BLEEDING I WENT TO A CLINIC AND I WAS GIVEN 10 PILLS CALLED PROGESTERONE AND I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD GET MY CYCLE BACK ON TRACK. I TOOK THE PILLS AND I STOPPED BLEEDING FOR 2 WEEKS AND STARTED BACK AGAIN WHICH HAS TURNED INTO 8 MONTHS. I AM BLEEDING VERY HEAVY, I WEAR SUPER PADS AND TAMPONS. I WEAR BOTH TOGETHER AND I HAVE TO CHANGE EVERY HOUR BECAUSE I SOAK THE TAMPON AND THE PAD. I EVEN USE PAPER TOWEL AS AN EXTRA PADDING WITH THE PAD AND TAMPON AND I LEAK THROUGH THAT AS WELL. I SEARCH ONLINE FOR ISSUES RELATED TO MINE AND ALL I FIND IS "MISSED PERIODS" AND " PRE-MENOPAUSE FOR WOMEN 35 YEARS AND OLDER" I DON'T SEE ANYTHING RELATING TO ME. I'M TIRED OF THE EMBARRASSMENT MESSING UP CLOTHES, SHEETS, FURNITURE, NOT HAVING INTERCOURSE. PLEASE HELP!! KEEP IN MIND " I'M 24 YEARS OLD"
