well, you never know when it's going to come, especially when you started your period that recently! maybe because you had your period for so long, your body is off schedule and won't start again for a couple of weeks from now. don't worry about it though! just wait and see!

It can take a while for your body to get into a cycle. Basically your hormones are adjusting for adulthood, and it's not a right away thing. You don't just go from childhood to adulthood overnight.
It's good to have regular doctor visits durring this time. A doctor may even prescribe some birth control pills to help even out your periods (birth control pills are really just hormones, so they can really help even out your cycles and even mood swings that accompany some womens cycles).
Hope that helps a bit.

if your having periods lasting 3 weeks, and as sporadic as they are,,,,,, you might need to see a doctor,,,,,, yes its common in the first few years, for them not to come on time, to skip one,,,, but 3 weeks sounds odd, it could be a hormone problem,,,,, sometimes your body can get stuck , in a sense,,,,,,,, to have or not have periods,,,,,,, so i think a basic talk with/check-up is best, talk with your mother or another close female about it,,,,, if its a hormone problem then there is medicine you can take, for a few weeks, to get things in balance
