We've all had times of doubt and giving up seems easier than facing our troubles. Life is about learning and growing, you are the person you are because of the things you have been through. Your negative thoughts are not your own they're all those people that need to put others down in order to feel better about themselves. You can make your life better because you do want it. Be strong and believe in your self all you have to do is try.

I don't know what your religion is or if you have one but it can seriously work wonders. I'm a christian and i always said that I was but I wasn't really a good one I just prayed and stuff because that's how i was raised but I recommitted myself to God and my whole life became so much more clear. I recommend that you take up some kind of a religion if you don't have one. If you do, strengthen that relationship with your God.
Also think of that saying that "everything happens for a reason." cuz everything really does happen for a reason.
I think life's trying to teach you something. I can't figure it out for you because I don't know all that has happened in your life but try to put together why you are so negative.
Do people always put you down?
Has something life altering happened to you that made you partially think it was your fault? (Divorce, relationship problems, rape?) It doesn't even necessarily have to happen to you. Maybe if it happened to a loved one and you feel responsible. Think about it and good luck! â¥

A lot of people feel that way, some more often than others. You might want to see a therapist because, although I don't know the details, it sounds like it might be a problem with depression. I started seeing a counseler recently, and I feel better already. Mostly just because I know it's a step in the right direction.

Feeling hopeless is a good way to avoid frustration and anger when we don't get the things that we want.
Why feel hopeful and possibly not have things turn out well.
Feeling hopeless or hopeful is when we think about the future. Thinking less about the future will result in less hopelessness.

it's hard to reverse negative thinking, especially if you've had these thinking habits for a while. The key is to stop negative thinking as soon as you realize it with a more positive thought or feeling. e.g. if you see a classmate do better on a test, you may think "I'll never be as smart as him/her, I should just stop trying." Replace that with, "I know that if I study hard, I can certainly get a much better grade. I don't need to keep comparing myself with others, because I know that will keep me frustrated." or with your example, "I'm never going to make it." There's gotta be many instances in your life where you achieved something you set yourself on - think instead, "I will make it - like i did with (past event you remember)."
Good luck, keep positive! It works wonders!

I used to feel as you do now. I was always a negative person, seeing the glass of water as being half empty instead of half full. I soon came to take a good look at myself & realized that my feelings of hopelessness & helplessness, were a direct result of having lack of self esteem, confidence, & self worth. I hated feeling this way & no one likes to be around a negative person. It drags them down. I was always so quick to find imperfections in others & came to realize that it was also because of the negative way I felt about myself. I felt no inner peace & felt so unhappy. I didn't like myself, for how I looked, as well as how I felt about myself. I decided to work on improving "me" & took it one step at a time. I was very overweight, so I got on a healthy eating plan, got plenty of exercise, & started to feel good about myself in no time at all. I now know that having a good "self image" is so important. When one feels good about themselves, people want to be around you. I gained back by good self image & the feelings of hopelessness are gone. I even feel more confident about myself & I'm not afraid to try new things. I enjoy new challenges in my life now, where before, I ran from them. I hope what I have said has helped you, even in some small way. Take it a day at a time & try exchanging each negative thought for a positive one. It takes time but you can train your mind to do it. Trust me, your feelings of not being able to make it, will vanish one day, when you change how you feel about yourself. You'll start to feel strong mentally & you'll go far. Take small steps, as you begin your new journey to thinking & feeling positive. Go to your library & find some self help books on positive thinking, as they will also help. I wish you the very best. Stay focused & think positive.

Many people think that way, what I can suggest is that you take some rest time to yourself, and take a few deep breaths. Maybe, seeing a consuler would help. I know many people that do, so don't feel like your the only one. Have a great day, and I wish you luck! Hope i could help you. If you would like any furthure help please let me know.
Best wishes!
