What can be done to help numbness in thighs and leg pain from a spur on the spine, besides surgery? he?

A few years ago they were looking at using the Lithotripsey Machine, sound waves that they use to break up kidney stones and I had for calcified tendinitis removal, on bone spurs on the spine. I do not know if they did any trails let alone what if any the out come was. If you do not want surgery to remove the spur and as you have some nerve involvement, not sure if their is another solution, unless perhaps exercise to try and wear down or remove the bone spur? However I expect that exercise would be painful?

i'm no expert yet this could have some thing to do alongside with your sciatica nerve (uncertain that;s spelt top).
