Fear is generally a healthy thing to have. A phobia on the other hand can be debilitating. If you want to rid yourself of a phobia then one of the ways to do it is through exposure therapy.
In exposure therapy the patient, generally under the observation of a therapist, is gradually introduced (repeatedly over many sessions) to what they have a phobia of until they are able to see that they have no rational basis for their fear.
As an example, if you had a phobia of spiders then you would first be shown a spider in a sealed container on the other side of the room. Once you become comfortable with it being there (and it may take many sessions depending on how phobic you are) the spider is moved ever closer. Eventually the spider is removed from the container and put on a table near you. After you no longer fear the spider while it's uncontained and close to you, you'll be asked to touch and eventually hold the spider.
Obviously it may take a very long time but it seems to have good results with most people. This is normally combined with general therapy such as therapy for anxiety to help the process along.

Fear is a warning to all of us. Some people fear allot of things though. That is not a sign of weakness, just possibly a little insecurity. Face your fears. Look at what you fear and what is real and not real. Look at all the possiblities, what could be the harm in what you fear. You cannot afford to fear everything, life is just too short. Look what you fear right in the face and tell yourself you can overcome it. You never know until you try it. Have faith girl, hold your head and realize that fear is a very natural feeling, but don't let it overpower you.

Don't look for a cure for fear! Its too scary!
A little fear is a good thing to have! Too much much of too many things can make your life miserable. If this is your problem, then seek help from your doctor!

First of all you must determine whether what you are feeling is F.E.A.R. or Caution. We are cautious about things that we have Evidence that could potentially hurt us and we usually have good reason for our cautions. On the other hand F.E.A.R. is simply an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real. All you have to do is to figure out if there is any Evidence or if there is only False Evidence with any of your particular situations.

The only way to cure a fear is to walk through it. 'Do the thing' (the thing that you fear) and you lose the fear.

If one didn't fear anything. One would get into a whole lot of trouble. What do you fear the dark,driving,people,yourself. I fear roller coasters. I will not get on one.
