im looking for the best way to gain muscle being 6'2" and weigh about 205 pounds i have alot of excess body fat. Most people eat alot of callories to gain weight but how am i suppose to do that if im allready overweight?

how will i know if i am addicted to the vicodin i take at least 2 - 7 every day and am usually still in pain it is just reduced from 10 down to a 3 in pain level.

My teacher was telling us about a disease. It sounds like luke-erick's disease or something like that. It has something to do with the neurons in ur brain, and muscle loss.

Obviously, its not called luke-erick's disease...

everytime i eat chewy candy such as gummy bears my teeth ache. i dont know what it is but when it happens i want to rip my teeth out becasue it hurts so much. does anyone know what i am talking about. please give me some advice.

I've heard that there is a lab test that can determine the minimal amount of calories that someone needs to keep going without weight gain or loss... I've heard that this is why some have higher caloric needs, while others have less, destroying the myth that each person needs the same amount of calories daily. Is there an actual test for this?

-I have really bad mood swings....one minute I will be EXTREMELY happy and then in one second someone can turn my upside down and I will be crying and ready to commit suicide.
-I have violent intrusive thoughts that cross my mind that I do not think I have any control over.
-I self harm by writing hate...yes much HATE including really bad things in my journal to myself about how much I hate myself
-I like to slap myself or harm myself but do not have courage to do so always
-Sometimes I feel truly insane .....like I have no feelings and that I am lost in reality.

hypothetically speaking how does one get started on this treatment? I've been on pain meds for a few years I recently tried not taking my meds and after about 24hrs I started not feeling very well and by 36hrs I was so sick everyone thought I had the flu which is what it felt like... I could not take it anymore and started taking my meds again within about an hour I was healthy again. I can not believe how sick I got..... people suggested methadone not subutex cuz the fact I have cronic pain so methadone may be my best choice as I still need pain controlled and methadone will do both control pain plus help me stop the oxycodone meds. Is this true?
Can I just walk into a methadone clinic myself and talk to someone about my situation? Will they start treatment that day if I tell them I am out of meds and do not want anymore refills and I am in withdrawl. How does this work? Do I need my Dr. to send me for insurance to cover...I can't miss work though.

I don't know what this could be. I have this really funky smelling discharge after I finish my period every month, no itching, burning or anything like that just a nasty discharge. It's been happening for like 4 months now, and I'm too embarassed to go to the doctor about it, so I use that over the counter stuff called rephresh, and it always gets rid of it, but the next month after I get done with my period it comes back. I'm a very clean person, so I don't understand what's causing it. Please people I'm only looking for mature answers only!!

Well Am 16 Year Old . Used to Love going Out every friday and saterday to raves with my mates . Doing the useual things like college and stuff . Then i caught the flu really bad . This was 2 months ago and am a totally different person . I fear the worst in most things . Been have bad head pressure like someones squasing my head . And shooting pains Now and again . I also get hot for no reason .. Think things like i have a brain tumor . Get really thirsty and sometimes loos my appertite . I had some sort off attack once or twice aday . And after it a'll feel nakered like i havent been to sleep for days . Feels like am gunna die and need to go to hospital . Some nights it takes me ages to fall asleep . I dont no whats causing this but am sick off it . I feel drinded all day . It got abit better about 2 weeks ago then came back again i dunno wots causing it . Am a young girl and just want my old life back . Help Please :(

I just got a trial pair of contacts on Friday. I have two very different prescriptions, my left eye is way worse then my right but my right has an astigmatism. So in the process of getting used to my contacts I will get these killer headache because the right swivles so much I can't focus. So tonight I have had them in the 8 hours I was supposed to and go to take them out. The right eye, with the thicker lens pops right out no problem, but I have now been trying for an hour to get the thinner left eye out. I have tried flushing it, lifting my lid, scrunching it in the corner, rolling my eyes around, and of course the normal way my doc told me to. My eye hurts horribly and I just want it out. I am so frustrated I was able to cry for about 20 minutes and that STILL didn't do it. I don't know what to do and my doctor's office isn't open again until tomorrow.

i just found out about 3 days ago that my sister has mono.. ive been having some of the symptoms: headaches, body aches, tiredness, weakness, and swollen glands.. but everywhere i look it says it takes 4-6 weeks for symptoms to show up.. so it possible that i have mono right now?.. well it would help if you know because i just dont wanna go to the doctor for no reason lol

I have had every hiv symptom there is.
Had a rash on my right leg, blood blister on my left. (kaposi sarcoma?) blood blister on my back.
white spots on the inside of my cheeks.
styes.
red spots on my skin.

have had a negative antibody at the 6 month 10 day mark.

Could I have a staph infection with these symptoms?
Wouldnt a hiv antibody test be positive by now, or does it take longer???
any suggestions??

i had 2 extraction done with 4 tooth.

i had an extraction last last Friday(4/6/07) for 2 tooth.
then i had another extraction last Friday(4/13/07) for another 2 tooth.
the next day i had a fever??

i was about to have my second appointment on a Wednesday of last week but my mom said no to Wednesday and scheduled me an appointment on Friday the 13th instead. my cousin has braces and her orthodontist said that having another extraction soon could gave them a fever. so then i had to wait till friday the 13th which is a week after my first extraction.
because i waited a week for my second extraction instead of another week longer is that the reason why i had a fever.

when i was 13 i got a cartelidge piercing and a keloid had formed. i'm 18 1/2 now and i just decided to let the piercing heal (if it will ever close, i don't really care). but will the keloid ever go away? if not, maybe i'll just put an earring back in there so i don't think about it and feel it.

i am 39, married for 13 yrs, 4 kids. only had one affair during a trial separation 4 yrs ago, very much regretted, but our marriage is now strong and doing great..i haven't had a wart since i was 14 yrs old, palm of my right hand...3 months ago, i developed a wart in that same place and then i noticed some pain after sex and found a small wart around the genital area--still only one wart exists there----if i had been exposed to HPV during that affair, would the wart take this long to appear? or could i have been exposed more recently by my husband? he has never admitted to having an affair, never held mine against me......was reading about HPV and it claimed that warts appear in clusters, well, i don't have any clusters, just one.....my husband don't have any warts and haven't had any..but he is experiencing a tender, swolen testicle, seeing a doctor about that tomorrow....any connection?

my ability to remember wot i have gone up the stairs for or wot a measurement was that i had just taken etc etc seems to be getting worse at an alarming rate.my long term memory has sufferd to i think as i find it difficult to rememeber wot it was like growing up or who i was if u like.its more of a block than a blankness is how i would explain it to somebody. i am 34yrs old by the way
