My first thought was that you might have the beginning of Athlete's foot disease. Your mention of overweight makes me wonder if it could either be a circulation or nerve problem. Best bet is see a doctor, and let him check it out.

Have you been having lower back problems too? Could be the sign of a pinched nerve in your lower back that's going down to your toes.
You might start by taking hot baths, a heating pad, muscle rub on your lower back and trying to stop doing whatever's hurting your back.
If that doesn't show any improvement within a week or two, see your doctor. You may need to have an MRI to see what's really going on. It may mean the difference between a pill and an operation. Hate to be blunt, but that's how it is.

Either it is poor circulation due to your weight or the beginnings of athelete's foot. I'd get out and walk each day to get the circulation going. If it's just athelete's foot, in a few weeks it'll start killing and you'll need to go buy some fungal creme or spray.

Yes your weight might be the cause but also it could be a pinched nerve.
