You are not nuts. You have a serious mental disorder. From what you discribe it sounds like you may be bipolar. I would definatly seek some professional help. Either go to your reg. doctor or visit the ER. They may put you in the hospital, but being there you can get the help you need and if neccessary they will put you on medication that will help you.

I think that being a bit disoriented in this confusing culture is normal. Many people of all ages are searching for a path and trying to discover who they are.
A century ago, things were less exciting, but definitely more stable. You pretty much knew who you were and what you were going to do from birth. Religion and spirituality were very important to daily life and provided some grounding in a very difficult world.
I'm not much into religion myself, but I do believe that finding your spiritual center is very important. I don't know your religious beliefs or whether you are an agnostic, but I would recommend some of the Eastern practices to help find your center.
Finding a purpose, meditating, loving, relaxing, and becoming compassionate with yourself and with every other person in the world may help. Just having one or two good friends with some depth can help. If you are one of many Americans without someone you trust, you might consider short-term counseling. A competent counselor can help identify causes and provide treatments. There are some medical causes for being happy and sad. Thanks to modern science we have some very effective medical treatments for specific medical conditions. You owe yourself a chance to check out all of the possibilities.

1) No, you'r not nuts. You are getting out of denial... that's cause for gladness!
2) Feel your pain, but do so, gradually. Pls don't let everything out in a flood. Someone's bound (yourself or others) to get hurt.
3) Try to stay away from crowded places. Grief is one way to find some relief, but you must know what you're grieving about.
4)Find a church where they incorporate psychology with religious issues, so you learn and understand more what is going on within. Pray only when you feel something's coming out, even when your'e experiencing intrusive thoughts, direct those thoughts to God. Don't pray just bc others are doing it.
I empathise with you, not pity you... begin to learn how to discern
:)

You need to go see a psychiatrist......so many people feel the same way you do. It's not just you ~ you are not alone!! Just hang in there and call a Dr. tomorrow. These symptoms you are describing sound like depression, which is treatable, but you can't do it on your own. You need some medication and you'll be surprised how much different and better you will feel! Please go get help! Good Luck!

You do not have to feel that way. Medication can control those feelings. See a doctor.
