Sore Throat?? Just mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 Tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria. I mean it was disgusting but it really did help me it really really did!!!!!"

Another remedy for a sore throat (whether viral, bacterial or strep) is cayenne pepper. Gargle with cayenne pepper and water mixture: 1/2 - 2 tsp. cayenne per glass of water, as strong as you can stand. Repeat as necessary, multiple times a day. Numbs and releives really bad sore throats.
You may still need to continue the remedy for 2 - 3 days to see final results, so be patient! This remedy works when antibiotics do not and is excellent for those weird sore throats that don't seem to go away after 4 weeks (the ones that possibly lead to chronic fatigue syndrome). This remedy works .

Take 800 mg of ibuprofen & gargle with warm salt water. If you have any sore throat spray, that will help to numb the pain as well. Hope you feel better soon!

Edit: I should add that if you use the numbing-sore-throat spray, don't drink any water or anything after b/c it will wash the spray away.

There is a product called "Hurricane" your doctor can prescribe for you. It's super-strength, not like lozenges or sprays available over the counter.
