I have to go to the gastro DR today and have that test where they put a camera down your throat, does anyone know how bad it is or the effects of a bleeding ulcer is?

Ocasionally I get a vision disturbance that makes me see as if Im seeing through a kaleidoscope, or water, last time it was about a week ago. Then again today in the other eye. Sometimes this lasts for about an hour. When I close my eye I see a ring of light like crystal moving around my eye! Can anyone tell me what might be causing this??? I am currently on muscle relaxers due to back surgery, but this has happend before too. (before I was on any medication) I dont wear glasses and just had my eyes checked last year.

I just got my tongue pierced yesterday, & after brushing my teeth this morning, I noticed that when I spat, 1 or 2 flecks of blood came out. I immediately rinsed my mouth with Peroxyl & then Listerine. Is that normal for a little blood to come out?

Hey im a young man who is trying to get better abs and obliques. Besides the typical crunches, what are some other workouts that work the abs and obliques really well. I have an entire gymfull of equipment at my disposal so equipment for working and doing certain excercises is not an issue.

One of my friends says she took 8 sleeping pills yesterday. She said first she took four and chased them with a glass of wine then took the other four within less than an hour and she said she felt dizzy and a little disoriented but she never fell asleep or felt anything other than the dizziness. I did tell someone so she can get help, but I was just wondering can she still die even though its been over 24 hours? I am worried about her. Can she still suffer physically even though it didn't happen right away?

I am a 35 year old mom and my 16 year old son is a 10th grader. He had his winter sports program from his high school sitting on the desk in his bedroom. I was looking at it since he is a wrestler and wanted to see his picture. When I turned the page, it was stuck together. I am 26, 5'4, and weigh 115 pounds. I am trying to lose about 8-10 for swimsuit season ( I have a very small frame so this will not be too little and yes I can stand to lose the weight) I read that in order to lose weight, you need to eat your weight in pounds times 10 in calories, so for me, 1150 calories a day to lose weight and only 1000 once I get to my goal. Is that right? In addition, I run on the treadmill 40 minutes a night, do 20 on the elliptical, and do toning exercises 30 minutes 3X a week. However, on 1150 calories I'm starving! Do I have things mixed up?

my CKD is dropping. It was 36 and now 29 over a period of 4/5 weeks. Waiting to see a specialist but is there anything I can be doing to help myself. Iam feeling very tired , sickly and jaundice a lot. Ifeel itchy a lot , is this anything to do with CKD 4 No appetite. Can any body help.

I came to College at 250lbs on January 15. I am now @ 230lbs on February 27. My coach(baseball) here wants me to get to 200-210 playing weight, by the end of the semester(may 12) and has been working me hard. I have to ask, will the second twenty be easier or harder to work off then the first twenty?

Also, is it safe to drop this weight, this fast?

My Daughter Has been sick on and off for about 2 weeks now fever,cough,runny nose, today she woke up a rash all over her body. To me it looks like Measles but she is up to date on all her shots. My seven year old boy has had like some type of fungi on his right thumb finger for like three or four months now. I have taken him to different doctors, his regular and then an allergy specialist where he goes already.Both have tried creams and antibiotics but they seem to not have worked.For the first few days the finger will get better but it will come back, my son says that it hurts whenver I put the "hydroxide cleaning liquid" on it and when he washes his hands.It is peeling right now, which is what it does often.At one point it got real yucky and had greenish stuff around it, and sorry that it sounds nasty but it is really concerning me because it does not get any better not matter what the doctor's give him.I've had to wrap it up with gauze and keep it filled with creams that have been sent to him, but the finger again is not completely better.Whta do you think it could be? I am trying to get him referred to a specialist though. Please advise.

Is there a street drug during 1964-1965 that would have had similar chemical components ? Have any who are prescribed seroquel had issues with their legs or heart ?

To me this is a suicide drug in the wrong hands, and in a mother's home, a child protection issue. I have heard Seroquel is being taken to court. Does anyone have an internet link to this court issue ? I invite your comments.

My neighbor "warms" his new Dodge truck (not deisel) letting it idle for 15 -40 minutes in the mornings. Because we live on a cul de sac, his truck is less then 20 feet from my front window and door. I tried to talk to him and have even called the police, but there doesn't seem to be anything they can do.

im 23 years old and i live in albany ny... i can't take any nosteriodal medications (Nsaids like ibuprphen advil excedren) because i am on coumadin and i can't take tylenol because it makes my liver enzymes go up... ive been in three different hospitals in the past 3 weeks for a migraine i can't get rid of ive never had any one like this before u name it we tried it depacon infusion dhe reglan benadryl nortyrpaline depakote pills and i can't get rid of it ive had a cat scan mri mrv and a spinal tap and they keep coming back negative. I don't know what to do but i told my doctor i can't deal with this pain anymore im ready to off myself. If someone has any idea what test or treatment i can do plz help! i live in albany ny i went down to the city (specifically the bronx) and was in montifure hospital for a week and then saw the headache specialist and they all did the same they don't know what else to do (oh ive also done dekadron a steriod (iv) and nothing im beggin you guys if you can

I'm a 38 year old male, weigh 228. I work out five days a week, alternating elliptical 3 days a wk, treadmill 2 days a wk. After committing myself to ridding my diet of desserts, eating more fruit and veggies, etc. I quickly lost fifteen pounds in three weeks. Then all of a sudden I plateaued! I'm already eating healthy without starving myself unneccesarily. How much more working out do I have to do to keep losing the weight? My goal is to get below 200 lbs.
