I just got my tongue pierced yesterday, & after brushing my teeth this morning, I noticed that when I spat, 1 or 2 flecks of blood came out. I immediately rinsed my mouth with Peroxyl & then Listerine. Is that normal for a little blood to come out?

yes. it is normal to see a little bit of blood during the first week. as for me, i was lucky my tongue piercing was almost problem-free. but a little bit of yellowish fluid and blood surfacing from the piercing is normal during the initial healing period. continue with the mouth rinse after every meal and it should be fine soon

Yes ...you just put a hole into your tongue. If it was pouring out blood then I would worry but like you said a few flecks isn't going to hurt you. Keep it clean!
