wat doz that mean?

I recently returned to work after I was violently ill for 3 months. I was tested for colitis, cancer, croan's disease and after finding nothing they diagnosed me with IBS. I have to watch what I eat and drink so my symptoms don't get too severe. I work at a buffet and have suddenly become very scared of germs. I see so many different kinds of people handling the utensils. I feel that I'm so supseptable to illness. I have never taken any sick time for this before. I had a little bit of an IBS episode at work the other day and have come to the conclusion that people are not very sanitary and I might get sick from them. They are coughing and sneezing and blowing their noses or maybe just haven't bathed for a few days. I really like my job but I'm afraid this will interfere with my customer service. Its getting to the point where I won't even touch utensils handled by anyone unless I have gloves on.
Is my fear irrational?

I think I might have this. I can not leave the house without checking all water tapes are off, all electrical plugs are off, all lights off etc. I have to check any doors 4 times before I can leave. When I come home from work, I check all doors and windows, then again. Started when I was at college. Now I have started it at work, and that is a school! My collegues think it is funny, but I can not help it. Any rooms I have been in, and computers I have fixed/logged onto, I need to check and re-check them just incase I did not do it the first time. I slows me down such much, and looks really stupid, but I simply can not help myself. My wife is constantly telling me "yes, you have checked that" and "hurry up, I am getting in the car now", but no matter how hard I try to stop it, I cant. Recently, I have been using my phone to record when I lock a room up, so if I am ever unsure, I can always replay it back. It does help, but I look like a nutcase.

Thankyou for reading

I have been on a course of Warfarin for 6 months and have now been advised to stop taking the medication within the next couple of weeks. Should I just stop or slowly reduce the medication from 7 mg down to zero over a period of say 7 days, my nurse at my local practice says to stop on a given day and my specialist says reduce the actual medication at 1mg per day. Confused!

I've been put on anti depressants by my doctor. I've been taking them for 5 days now and feel a little more positive but i don't feel dramatically happier yet. Does anybody know how long it takes for them to take effect? I'm concerned that my Dr. might have given me a placebo and the positive feeling ive been getting is all down to my own mind.
