partner an i exactly like that. except that we'r married.
all we do is sit and watch tv and eat.
and we just annoy each other.
am not sure about this board game idea. husband and i tried it, all we do is fight. we both have different rule of playing game, and end up fighting.

Bowling, putt putt, swimming, trail walks, movies, go out for a pizza, watch a movie of the week at home, go to the library and research your family tree and see if you have common ancestors, board games, play on the Wii, X box 360, ps2 games, take a drive to a big city, a walk on the beach, make a dinner together. Free or almost free events in your city. The best things in life are free. Drive to a state park, horse back riding, picnicing, roller skating, ice skating, skiing, snowboarding, boating, water skiing, boogieboarding, writing.

Well, I don't know where you live so I can't know the weather at this time of the year but outdoor activities are always fun. Even if it's just going on the swings in the park. Going for a walk is nice. You can just pace yourself and talk or take pictures of the scenery. My bf and I try to go swimming every week at our local rec center. (they have an indoor pool) That's always fun. Or, amusement parks, but those can be expensive.
Hope this helps!

Since I don't know your age group or money flow, I'm just going to put some suggests out there:
winter events:museums, play , concert, indoor picnic, candle lit dinner, mid day brunch, shopping at the mall (window shopping) you can also travel to other malls that are not local like in the next town or state it's something different from the norm, skiing
some summer events: outdoor concert, day cruises, theme parks, roller blading, spa days, vacation weekends i.e Florida, Cancun etc.
all year around events: movies @ home or out (depending if you like reenting movies), bowling, game night(broad games or others..wink..wink), cooking together
Hope you have fun!

It depends on your age but...
You can make a nice dinner to have together.
You can go out to the movies.
You can play board games/video games/cards.
You can take a day to go out and do things in your own town or city, but take turns choosing what to do and show each other new stuff...
Like if there is a special icecream shop that makes fresh icecream and you love going there and he's never been there...things like that. Just show each other things from you're childhood.
Give each other massages.

Well my boyfriend and I walk 5 miles together on the weekends as well as lift weights, go swimming (when weather is good), go to the zoo and walk.
Also we sometimes go to old car auctions (he is redoing an old camaro), take weekend trips to adjoining states (go to theme park and ride roller coasters, take the train, watch Nascar races),
We also go over to his sister's house to watch Mixed Martial Arts PPV events when she has lots of people over. Also have checked out the local museums (dinosaur bones and cowboy hall of fame)
Sometimes he helps me with stuff around my place too like cleaning out my garage or prepping my flower beds. We also are thinking about going to some state parks and hiking. There's all kinds of stuff to do if you just look around your area.
Doesn't really have to be anything expensive either.

Walks are fun. Why not go to a friends house together or play a board game? You could also participate in a hobby that you both will enjoy.
