My neighbor "warms" his new Dodge truck (not deisel) letting it idle for 15 -40 minutes in the mornings. Because we live on a cul de sac, his truck is less then 20 feet from my front window and door. I tried to talk to him and have even called the police, but there doesn't seem to be anything they can do.

How about you mind your own business, its not against the law so deal with it. 20 feet away? You are not getting exposure to exhaust. Its in your head.

Well for one who would be heating their truck for more than 15 minutes except that he is doing it on purpose. And yes you can
get a lot of headaches from the exhaust fumes and cold like
symptoms do not sound normal for an everyday event sounds
like something you need checked out. Good Luck !!

It definitely could. It's not good for anybody to inhales such fumes especially on a regular basis. If you go to the doctor and he thinks it's harmful to your health, maybe you can do something about it then. Maybe with something from the doctor in writing, will maybe get the neighbor to move his truck to where the fumes won't come into your windows. Approach him kindly and maybe he will cooperate. If it gets very serious, you can probably get your county or city to help you legally. Hopefully, it won't come to all that. Good luck. Take care of your health.

If you are having headaches and cold like symptoms for longer than a couple weeks, see your doctor. So many deadly diseases are mistaken for colds.
