Health - 23 February 2007

I have chronic alcoholic calcification of the pancreas. I had stents put in and the pain has stopped, but I've been told to stay away from alcohol for ever.
I can't do this, no matter how hard I try.
What happens if the pancreas are removed?
Please help!

After a week of headaches the doctor told me i have sinusitis. He has given me a steroid nasal spray, anti-biotics and pain killers. My face ie; behind my eyes, across my cheekbones and my forehead are really painfull to the touch. But my headache is the wost - i have a dull aching pain all over my head, like there is not enough room in my skull for my brain! Apart from pills anyone got any suggestions to ease the pain?

depression, eating disorders, anxiety??

i went to see a counsellor at my university for the 1st time yday. She was very nice,compared to ppl ive seen in the past but from the word go I could see she was trying to find reasons for my problems. I can't pin point anything, there are things i am not happy with but I don't think i ended up with certain conditions because of this...but I know if i say that the counsellor will prob not be able to help.

any advice on what to do??

Needed to add the fact that i don't eat allot and i work 2 jobs. I am always on my feet and running. I watch what i eat. I worry that the fat is from the skin being stretched and i had a surgery that cut through my muscles. Are there any excercises that target that area? I have already lost around 50 lbs. Thanks for all the input so far. Also I can't run because of bad knees.

I have horrid back pain that's lasted for a solid couple of days now; it's in the middle of my spine and the surrounding area. My office chair is also seeming to aggravate it, unfortunately. As a result, I'm tired, I have a headache, and I'm super cranky. I did lots of heavy lifting last weekend, so I'm positive that's what causing it. Is there anything I can do to remedy my problem, or should I consult a chiropractor?

I am 23 years old. I have been having some bleeding and I thought it was my period but then it stopped. Well My husband and I were having sex and when we were done he was like oh you must be starting your period because there was like a redish brownish tent. So I am like oh ok. But a couple days went by and no period. Then yesterday when I wipped I had some red blood on the toilet paper so I put a tampon in. But when a took it out several hours later there was No period. And today there is nothing. I started my period last month on the 20th. So I should have it now right? Is this normal ?Does this happen to other women as well?
