DON'T TAKE REMERON!

They bury it down low in the Patient Information Sheet, but the weight gain is significant. I gained 40 pounds on it before I realized that it was the Remeron causing it. I started at 100 lbs. That's gaining 40% of my body weight!

And in 10 years I've never been able to lose it, and because of the way it makes you gain (something about size of cells more than excess fat) it makes it a very difficult kind of weight to lose.

You're appetite will increase, too, especially for sweets. As the website crazymeds.org says, it will have you eating sugar right out of the bag.

Don't take this if there is any possibility of another drug. If this is the only one which will help you at this point, just be very careful about watching your weight.

Within 2 months, I had gained 30 pounds. I stopped taking it right away! And I've heard about the weight gain from other people too.
