My Dr. said I'll lose 100 lbs. & I'll be healthier. He highly recommended it, but he also said it wouldn't make sense since I take psych meds. My Medicaid is supposed to cover it. What do you think I should do?

i have terrible itching right around my tailbone, i have tried hydrocortizone and several differnt oilments, but it will not go completely away, problem being it itches so severly i cant stand it and i make it worse, i have no medical and cant afford to see a dr for it, please any suggestions on how to stop the itching if i could get relief from the itching long enough i think it would clear up completely because it starts to look better but then i make it worse all over again-this has been going on for mths.thank you i appreciate any suggestions

I have been having neck pain for at least on and off for about 7 months. Until recently, I just contributed it to stress and working on the computer a lot. The past 2 weeks it has gotten tremendously worse. Tingling down my right arm...and pain in my neck and headaches. My doctor ordered a c-spine, and of course it came back with Osteoarthritis with some nerve compression. I'm slightly baffled by this diagnosis as I'm only 45 yrs old. My doctor now wants an MRI...(which I went today for) to see exactly what is going on with the nerves and soft tissue.
I'm primarily concerned because of my age...possible misdiagnosis. Although, I will know more in a couple of days based on my MRI findings. Has anyone ever been through this before? I really do not want surgery. I'm hoping that its something that can be managed with physical therapy...and whatever else is non-invasive. Thanks for the help...

I cut myself preparing Valentine's Day flowers at a florist and recieved 3 stiches. I did get a Tetanus vaccine at the ER.

3 days later I had problems eating from a stiff/painfull jaw. This problem is intermitant in severity but always present and eating seams to be a problem.

The injection site is still painfull a week later. and my eye is twitching occasionally.... Are these normal after a tetanus shot?

the surface of the "scab" is smooth, and dead skin comes off of it if I mess with it sometimes. Sorry about the gross details, but I am just worried about what it might be. I'm currently not sexually active and I'm single.

I had pe last week, and I was wondering how long the convalescence should be. I was in the hopsital emergency room for 2 days and as soon as the blood clot was gone, they told me to go home and didn't give me any time off from work. I took Monday off and today I tried going to work but ended finishing the day at lunchtime, I was so exhausted that I slept all afternoon afterwards. Is this normal? Has anyone every had PE?

i need to go to the dr to find out if i have an std or uti but i'm scared to death of the gyno. i'm 19, i'm sexually active, and i haven't been before. there's no way i'm goin there i'm too afraid. could i just go to a family dr or a walk in clinic and TELL them my symptoms instead of having to SHOW them?

I have been having a lot of physical symptoms, such as bad headaches, heart palpitations, i'm always tired, I always feel sick.....something is always wrong with me!! I have been tested for many things including hyperthyroidism (which my doc thought I truly had) and all my tests turn out normal. They can't find anything wrong with me but yet I am having all these physical symptoms. I have been to many doctors for a second opinion so I know it's not my doctor. If a young woman (21 years old) is about 5'4" and weighs 110 pounds, is that too thin? Keep in mind she's naturally very flat chested, so there's no weight in the chest area to contribute to the overall weight. What do you think? Model thin? Normal?

say a day passes after she released her unfertilized egg, or her period passes, she wouldnt be able to get pregnant if i have sex wit her rite? becuase 1), its going to take days for her egg to be formed to be ready to get fertilzed 2) if theres no egg becuase it was freshly released, she cant get pregnant becuase theres no eggg rite? 3) if this is true...isnt this the best time to have sexual intercourse with a girl? 4) also, if i am wrong, and a girl CAN get pregnant after her period, how??? imean theres no egg is there? she had just recently passed her period ..

and it's very difficult to get started, sometimes it takes minutes. at first i thought maybe the tampon irritated it or something cuz like it's sore. i know an std could have caused this but what else could it be, and exactly which std's have these symptoms?

...oh and i had abnormal discharge a couple weeks ago and a little itching but it went away on it's own.

K well i had/have BV ( bacterical Vagniosis) And well i have now finished
a) my 3rd refill for a BV treatment
b) my Period

Im just wondering , cuz im all "scatter brains" right now , Seeing how i have discharge starting again already right after i have finished my Menstration cylce, is that normal? or no?Does it mean that im getting it AGAIN!? lol
And if anyone else had had BV , how long did it take to get rid of it ?
And there is no Fishy/musky odor at the moment its more uh like sour dough HA. god i sound stupid .

I recieved my first Lupron Depot (11.25mg) shot at the beginning of this month..and I'm getting hot flashes about every 30 minutes to an hour. They are getting extremely bothersome and I was wondering what I can do to help them. I'm working on cutting out soft drinks now hoping that may help on the sugar intake.

Last week I was sick for a few days. I missed two days of school. I made up a history test on Monday. I also had a speech that was due Monday for English. There's the bad part. I still have not written my speech yet. I've been getting enough sleep, but I was so tired yesterday that I went to bed & slept the night through. I had the same problem today. I slept ten hours yesterday, but I found myself feelin exhausted at seven PM. Here I am at 11 PM workin on my speech. I have not idea how long it is going to take me. I think at least 1.5 hours minimum. How do I get through my assignment without falling asleep? I'm just tired & I don't know what to do?

P.S. I was lucky enough to not be called on earlier to present my speech. Even if I finished it, I'm just afraid about performing well the next day at school and having enough energy to get through with my studies. I mean even with 10 hours of sleep, I was exhausted around seven PM on both Monday & Tuesday.

Any advice?
