I was put in the hospital because I had bronical phneumonia and the ran blood wor will i found out today that my liver enzymes is really high.I also had blood work done by another doc. from another town and it read high liver enzymes can anybody tell me If i need to worrie if so what do i need to worrie about

You certainly need to have the docs figure out the reason for the high liver enzymes. It could be due to some medicine you took or due to hepatitis or other forms of liver disease (do you take alcohol?). You also need to check them for a period of time and make sure they return to normal. High liver enzymes indicate dying liver cells. Don't worry too much though. It is usually a temporary and reversible situation. The liver regenerates very well.

My husband had High liver enzymes and it turned out he had alot of fat and it was congesting his liver, so his was no big deal just had to lose weight. But it could also be Hepititis so you should get tested
