you have to go ..so you will know ,and not unwarily give it to someone else , if it is treatable then yes you will get medication , You have to be an adult ,and find out ..do not be scared now ,think of the legalities if you know or think but do nothing do prevent spreading ...you were not scared to do it , accept responsibilities for your actions , you have to do this , think about if you do nothing then a guy finds out he has something ,and tracks it back to you , it could turn out very bad ,because I know what I would do if someone passed any disease off to me...Time to GROW UP ......Be an adult ,and not a coward , and they will have to do tests so be prepared , NO doctor will give you medicine or treat you for something based on your word..get over it ,and go to the doctor...Be RESPONSIBLE , besides according to the television their are people who find out the are positive, and go play tennis.......DO THE RIGHT THING

You'll probably have to show them, but it is totally worth it. A gyno exam hurts like a b-tch, but only for about 1 minute. We women pay a high price for being sexually active, it's not fair, but believe me, when it's over you will be so glad that you went. FYI, the normal course for a UTI is for them to have you pee in a cup and then they run tests... the gyno is not involved at all. And for some STDs, they can do a blood test, with no need for a pelvic exam. But if there is a good chance you have been exposed to an STD, definitely see the gyno. An STD could kill you, make you infertile, or lead to chronic health problems. It is worth 1 minute of pain to know for sure whether you have one so you can then take appropriate action.

Just prepare yourself, and make it as easy as possible for yourself. Like, go to a clinic that's far from your home, so you won't run into anyone you know. And take a friend for moral support.

no matter where you go which yes you can go to a clinic not just a gyno you will HALF to have an exam. They half to do cultures in order to see what you have becuase for everything you may have there is a different way to treat it and almost all STDs and simple infections including UTIs have simular symptoms therefore explaing would only tell them there is a problem not what it is or how to treat it. If you are adult enough to be having sex then you should be adult enough to handel teh responsibilty that comes with it which means ..... going to a doctor to be sexually healthy so that you are NOT contaminating others which is ILLEGAL.

You could try to, depends on what your symptoms are, if it's burning when you pee, being irritated, hurting in the abdomen, they might want you to give a urine test. On the other hand if you have sores like it could be herpes, they will want to see it.

It's not really that bad to go to the gyno. I've had cancer and I have to go every 3 months. You have to find one you are comfortable with and it will be ok. They aren't any different from a regular doctor only in the fact they do breast exams and the pap smear/exam. And it's not that bad, it's over in a few seconds, they stick a swab in, take a sample and you're done.

Theres nothing to be afraid of! i wish more young girls knew this, its just like any other doctor. If you have been sexually active, meaning you've let a guy in "down there" how bad could it be to let a trained professional take a peek down there? hes just there for your own ood, and will examine you like the dozens of women he sees everyday (and they have seen it all). you're a young woman now, and especially if you are having sex this is something you have to face. the gyn will be a part of your adult life. learn to embrace it. and if u wanna check out whatever it is u have going on right now, u have to go. just figure u'll have to do it someday, and u are better off safe than sorry at this point.

Oh man I HATE seeing the gyno. If you want help, they will probably insist on doing some sort of tests. If you are sexually active its time to see the vag. doc. GO! Believe me, I hate it. I wish I could be under (not awake). It sucks and will always suck. Without treatment you could get very sick, not to mention other people in your Community.

No reputable doctor will ever give you medicine without a check up....what you are looking for is a drug dealer, not a physician.

No, unfortanetly you have to show and tell. You can't do the crime and not pay the time. Sorry, it really is not painful, just embarrasing. :(
