Every once in a while I get sharp stomach pains that feel like someone is pulling down on the inside of my stomach. I have to bend down to keep the pain away, and I can't stand up straight or it will really, really, really hurt. Does anyone know what it is or what causes these pains?

A friend of mine has been suffering from lower back pains for many years & after breathing down his neck for a few years, was I able to get him to consult a doctor last year. After some x-rays & questioning, the doctor told him that he was born with a missing vertebral column (or something to that effect) and told him to never again ride a motorbike & not lift weight of more than 1 pound max. He was also told that nothing else could be done since this is a birth defect & he would have to live with this condition. Some painkillers were prescibed, but my friend's problem has not been solved. He still suffers from severe pains at times, he cannot sit straight for even half an hour at a stretch, neither can he walk much. He has taken a second opinion, but it was the same diagnosis... Will he have to live like this forever?

I'm going to make this short and to the point:I really want to be able to run on a daily basis for health reasons but it's near impossible. I am in horrible physical shape and I tested myself, I can run for less than 1 minute without running out of breathe and having a painful migraine. When I run the pain is horrible and I physically can't do it for a long time.

Is there some way I could slowly train myself to be able to run for long periods of time?

I am trying to find a gingseng grower or ditributer in Nothern New England. I have hear that Gingseng growing (both Korean and American) is relatively popular in Maine maybe Vermont and Upstate New York and Canada? For weeks i do very bad sleep.I use to work in two shifts one in the morning one in the late evening.For two months now i used to work in the late evening shift so i was getting for sleep at 5 in the morning.The last two weeks i use to sleep at 7 in the morning even though i feel terribly tired.
i decided to stay sleepless for days untill i manage to sleep in the night but didnt work even though i stayed for three days in a row without a single hour of sleep.
Recently i urchased valerian cause i heard that helps.
Can someone tell me what can i do?

My periods are late by 8 days... no, i'm not pregnant!! 100% sure!!
Im 28 years old and since i was an adolecent, i always had an irregular cycle, between 33-40 days, sometimes longer...
I took for about 8 months the contraceptive pills, and thanks to them i had quite a regulare cycle, but just after i stop taking them, i'm back to my irregular cycle...
Do you think that my irregular cycle will have an effect when i decide to have a baby?
Should I do some blood analyses?

lately, past few months, i have been getting these bumps on my arms, on the bottom mostly, but some on the top, right now there are about 7 of them, they look like mesquito bites but there not, havn't been outside, maybe its from me walking my pig, i dont know, do you know?
