If "v" is meant to be u - well I would have to say so that you protect yourself from sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies.

to prevent the girl from getting pregnant
when u eject ur sperms, the sperm cant get to the eggs cause the condom blocks it
and then the girl cant be fertilise, no bbaby!

condoms are used for safe sex in two ways.... one) to avoid unwanted pregnancy and two) to prevent ourselves from sex related diseases.
