-I take my birth control (yasmin) continuously because of a health condition, so I don't take breaks between packs.

-I've been doing this for about a year now.

-I want to know if taking the pill continuously lowers its effectiveness against preventing pregnancy.

Okay So i going to say as much information as possible.
I have been feeling like i have a bladder infection for 4 months.[i have all the syptoms except the blood in the urine] i have social anxiety so i dont even go out side. well aweek ago i finally got enough courage to go to the hospital. they tested my pee and said i was clear. they gave me medication just incase. its the last day of my medication and i still feel like i have one. it hurt so bad that somtimes i just wish i would die. someone please help!! what could this be?

..and are pharmaceutical (spelling?) companies really so concerned about money that they wont support certain drugs because of the monetary gains, or lack thereof?

this may not be the cure for cancer, and i cant say it is because im not a doctor, but it is interesting...

Is it too late for a growth spurt?
I'm 20 years old (female), 4'10, 110 lbs. My shoe size and height have stayed the same since the 6th grade (12 years old). Basically, I haven't changed much in 8 years (at all!). I was wondering if anyone knew when exactly does the average female stop growing? It's not just my height either... my body (at least from the waist up) looks like a child as well. Is there a chance to grow a lil more? =p

And was tested and they said I had it and was on meds and I had to pay for it because I was with a diet doctor and well cant affored it noe so guess what gained all my weight and asked my family doctor and he said for me to stay off of it for 3 months and he will test me... does that seem kind of odd to let me GAIN all that weight back again....without me getting my meds also been very sluggush and tired and hair falling out. anybody agree?

I am a 6'2 170 lb guy with long limbs and a light frame. I would really like to pack on some solid muscle mass before the summer. But I have no idea what kind of routine I need, what sort of diet, or any idea as to how to get started. In the morning,8am, i drink a protein food suplement drink. soy protein in my milkshake. This counts as a meal. I then eat at 4pm a big homeade meal or sometimes fast food . i get full. at night i just eat a banana if im hungry. is this safe. is it safe to drink protein as a food supplement. THanks. I went to the dermatologist because I had an abscess on my leg and it wasn't the first time I had one. I asked her what could be causing it and she said, "You have Hidradenitis Suppurativa" I had never heard of it before and I did a little research on it and I don't think she's right. If I do have it, it's a mild case. How can she even glance and me and know what it is? Is there a test you can take or just something they look at and diagnose?

A few days after this happened (she poked around alot!), my inside arm from the wrist to the elbow was all sore, like it was bruised but with no bruise showing. It's now over a week and getting no better. It's almost like I can feel my sore vein there! Is there anything I need to worry about, I mean could bacteria or anything gotten in there. Mind you, no blood was drawn from that site - She got someone else to do it on the other arm and I feel nothing over there. I'm just not sure if I should have it checked out or not. I know the soreness is definately from the attempt, but don't know what could be wrong. Thanks for any input.

I am on Atkins for 2 months and lost 22 lbs. Its pretty good but it really get frustrated when it stop declining. My Story goes like this.
When i started i was 205 lbs and it went down to 191 lbs in 2 weeks. I was really happy and looking forward to lose more lbs in nest couple of weeks. But it almost stopped and in next 2 weeks it only fell to 187lbs. :-(
Then i took a break of one week and started eating everything which i missed in last 1 month and gained around 4.5lbs. Reason for doing this what to change my Body Chemicals and then to start Atkins. Which i did and my weight went down to 184 lbs. In the next week i lost further 4 pounds.
Now it is again stopped for the last 4 days and my frustration is at its peak.
Tell me what should i do? Should i take a break for couple of days or a week and then starts Atkins Diet, or Should i wait?
Profession Advice and Personal Experiences will be more appreciated.

Does drinking allot of water after eating sweets, like chocolates reduce the risk of Diabetes...? I mean... This is how I see it... If I drink allot of water after eating sweets, then the sugar would probably be dissolved or something? So it would just be like eating something else that had less sugar in it...

So, I have a really sensitive stomach, anything will make it go crazy. Some days it will be fine then others i will be in the bathroom every 20 mins or so. Could this be IBS or some other kind of illness?
