I want to get the Gastric Bypass surgey, but there is no way I can afford it and I don't have insurance at this moment, but I will soon. I am so desperate I will do something on T.V. And YES I've tried dieting and exercising and that hasn't helpd me lose the weight. I'm open to any suggestions. Thank you very much. :)

For like 3 months I wasn't sleeping well, but now I'm starting to sleep better. What's the best way to get rid of these nasty bags that won't go away?

Any time a parent can't manage their child they rush them to the doctor, rattle off all the things that bother them about their child, and then ask "Does he/she have a disorder (they are crossing their fingers at this point hoping the doc says,"Sure, you'r kid is screwed up and it's not your fault at all.") and what can you give him/her to make him/her better?" Never mind the fact that most people care very little for discipline any more simply because it might damage their ever so fragile egos, never mind the kids spend more time with caretakers then parents, never mind the kid is probably just spoiled beyond belief because it's easier to give in then stand your ground.

Just to clarify I am not talking about the select few who actually do have chemical imbalances, the ones who go thru all types of physical tests to determine what's wrong, or the people who have honestly tried being parents.

I now repeat my question:

Why is our society so set on getting our kids stoned?

I get a full nights sleep every night, but I am constantly tired. I could take a 3 hour nap every day. I eat a lot of carbs to stay energized but it doesn't really help. Can someone help me find a remedy to feel more awake?? Thanks.

I am in Baghdad & need advice ASAP. I'm a 48 y/o female & I've always had good health, but 3 weeks ago, I got a sudden nosebleed for no apparant reason. When I applied pressure to stop the bleed, I could feel it pulsing down my throat. The bleed was from both nostrils & really scared me. I had my BP checked the next day, & it was high (133/100). I was given a diuretic for 2 days, but when it didn't help, a BP med was given. It has worked until today. I've felt breathless all day and my heart keeps skipping beats. My vision has been blurring a little also lately. I went to the clinic & the nurse told me all she could do was send me home as unfit for duty (unpaid leave). I work for a civilian company & the military recently said we can't use their docs anymore, so our company nurse gave me the meds. I don't want to have to go back to the States if it's not something serious, but I don't want to die over here over from something that could be prevented, either. Any docs here with advice?

Or does it have to be a black and white issue as people in general seem to believe. I think it IS possible to get your old self back as it were without having to give drink up. I dont have experience with drugs but I believe thats a definite no no, apart from canabis which I feel should be legalised, even though I dont smoke. Who agrees?

My mother went to the ER last weekend because she was dizzy and had numbness from the top of her head to the bottom of her foot. It is only on the right side and seems to go directly down the middle of her body. The left side has no sypmtoms. She still has full strength, but has the numbness. What could this be? She is waiting for blood work to come back and for insurance approval for an MRI, but her doctor has already said that she did not have a stroke and he said if it had been a pinched nerve, it would only affect from the nerve down, not the entire right side. He also said the only thing that he could come up with at that point was Lou Gherig's, but that usually has symptoms before an attack such as this. I am just looking to find out what it could possibly be. My mother is only 44 by the way, but she is overweight and not very active at all. Any other suggestions I could research would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Heres the facts:For 3 months i've had burning when i pee.Doctors thought it was bladder infection because there WAS bacteria, so i took antibiotics, 3 times! but it didnt go away.No STD's, not a yeast, not a bacterial infection.they did a cystoscopy and found nothing. There is no more bacteria..since i took the antibiotics but the burning is still there. I usually dont have frequency but sometimes do... One day it wont burn all day and the next it will burn for hours. I am not having sex. I am on Ortho tri cyclen birth control but started taking those pills after i had these symptoms so it cant be from that. My urologist says i should get this surgery that shows if i have interstitial cystitis. Other doctors don't think i have it,personally dont think i have it... WHAT ELSE COULD THIS BE!...it is unbearable when it starts burning. Also when i have frequency (which isn't all the time) it just drips out a little bit when i push the urine out. Its not the laundry detergent either.thoughts?
