Our furnace was installed where the intake and exhaust pipes are vented one foot away from each other. The exhaust sucks up into the intake. During real cold weather the intake pipe gets frozen over with ice from the hot exhaust that is being sucked into it. My husband put an extension on the exhaust pipe to lead it away from the intake. However, now the pipe fills up with water from the condensation and turns into ice not allowing the exhaust to exit. Could this be dangerous . Could it be causing my headaches and exhaustion?

I just started the lemonade detox, and I was wondering if anyone who had done it in the past knew if it was safe to continue taking my birth control prescription? The book never mentions prescriptions that I can find, just vitamins and supplements. Any ideas? Thanks so much!

I have been taking Phenteramine for the last 3 1/2 months. I had been on birth control until the last two weeks. My husband and I are wanting to have a baby sometime in the near future. Should I discontinue taking the Phenteramine immediately or can I wait until I find out I am pregnant if and when I do get pregnant?

I was sitting in class today when I noticed that the person sitting to the left of me had two cuts on their right hand, the one closest to me. One was large and wide and looked scabed, on the nuckles, and the second was still wet with blood. I noticed that when she was raising her hand to speak, pulling papers out of her binder, or just writing/gesturing her hand with all the cuts was getting close to the left side of my head and its hair, by accident of course. I was wearing my hair sticking out to the sides and one time their hand, the back of it where the cuts were located, touched my hair. I know this becasue I felt it and the peron apologized. I am worried about HIV and Hep C. My concern is that some of the blood was transfered from her hand to my head. What should I do? Can the blood soak into my hair and stay there? Will a hor shower with shampoo completley clean my hair, or do I need to do something more drastic? Should I cut off the hair that touched the blood? Please help!

Twice in the last week when ive felt wheezy enough to use my home nebuliser, ive ended up panicing and hyperventilating till i've lost concious and had to be taken to hospital. Has this ever happened to anyone else? What are the chances of it happening again now i'm on the right anti biotics (hopefully) and been given oral steroids for the chest infection?

I am 42 years old and have been recommended microdermabrasion followed by photofacials (5 sittings each, 1 month apart) to remove pigmentation and rejeuvenate the skin. But the treatment costs a pretty packet and I want to know if its really effective. If yes, for how long? Are there any home remedies for pigmented patches? I live in a tropical region.

There was a world-wide scare when avian flu broke out in Asia last year. In Kenya, where I reside, there has been a recent outbreak of Rift-valley fever, which has killed almost 150 people in less than four months. This is more than Avian flu has killed so far. While avian flu affects mostly birds, Rift valley fever affects animals like cows, goats etc.. Both are viral, and both at times infect humans. In either case, human fatalities on infection is not a must. Why isn't there a similar concern with Rift valley fever as there was with avian flu? Is one less virulent, or less dangerous than the other? What makes avian flu more dangerous?
