Verrucas are very hard to get rid of, unfortunately. Wartner does work but you will almost certainly have to apply it more than once - you'll have to wait two weeks between applications.
Another method is to soak your foot in a bath, until the verruca is soft, and then - gently - try to cut it with surgical or manicure scissors, which you can buy at chemists'. The actual verruca will probably be slightly indented from the skin around it, and you may see dark spots - that's what you want to cut away.
The problem with verrucas is that they have a root, which can be very deep. Be persistent and regular with your treatment, and they will go away eventually.

I feel the same my son has had a verruca for about six months and we have been using bazuka with no results the doctor said it can take months to go and that you should soak your feet for ten minutes a day and scrape the area after, he also gave me salactol paint I've only been using it for a week so as yet no results (fingers crossed it works).

My chemist sold me some stuff called Wartner Which basically freezes the little blighters. It consists of a can and sponge bits. you put the sponges on an applicator push into the end of the can for 3 seconds and place it on the wart or verruca and it freezes through to the root of the Verruca and kills it. Usually needs 2 applications and takes a week or so for them to die off.

I would go to your doctor again and ask him to freeze them with liquid oxygen(or whatever).
I had a big cluster of verrucas on my foot and that sorted them out. If my memory is correct you won't be able to walk very well for a few days.

Make an appointment with a chiropodist. Many treatments are ineffective; some can cause more problems. It used to be common to soak the foot in formalin but that causes severe reactions in some people.
A chiropodist or a podiatrist can advise much better than me.
