I am in Baghdad & need advice ASAP. I'm a 48 y/o female & I've always had good health, but 3 weeks ago, I got a sudden nosebleed for no apparant reason. When I applied pressure to stop the bleed, I could feel it pulsing down my throat. The bleed was from both nostrils & really scared me. I had my BP checked the next day, & it was high (133/100). I was given a diuretic for 2 days, but when it didn't help, a BP med was given. It has worked until today. I've felt breathless all day and my heart keeps skipping beats. My vision has been blurring a little also lately. I went to the clinic & the nurse told me all she could do was send me home as unfit for duty (unpaid leave). I work for a civilian company & the military recently said we can't use their docs anymore, so our company nurse gave me the meds. I don't want to have to go back to the States if it's not something serious, but I don't want to die over here over from something that could be prevented, either. Any docs here with advice?

,To sum up what you mention are as following;48 years old female always in good health,no his try of htn, heart disease ,working in fornigh country, suddenly developed nasal bleeding found borderline high blood pressure(133/100) also irregular heart beat, mild shortness of breathing and mild blurring of vision. Here are my thinking;nasal bleeding possible due to dry heat environment or high blood pressure(at that time),133/100 not consider danger high of blood pressure but need to followup by check 3-4 times daily.Your irregular beat, mild sob most possible due to benign arrhythmia;;pac (premature atrial contraction) or pvc(premature ventricle contraction) usually due to stress or to much coffee in your case, you may need to r/o other type of arrhythmia if symptom change such as chest pain developed..And blurring of vision ,need r/o of diabetic of high surger.and other eye disease. If you can have complete check up is the best if not then take it easy your work, cut down coffee, check your bp few time daily and obtain medicines, for possible of high surger need urine and blood test to find out.
