I am not giving a lecture just some information about Crystal Meth, so people are aware of the risks of this drug.
Crystal Methamphetamine is a stimulant
Crystal meth comes in many forms, and can be smoked, injected, snorted, and orally ingested, depending on how it is taken, can impact how it effects the person.
Also take into consideration the persons over all health and well being, body size and if other drugs or alcohol is taken at the same time, with the crystal meth, can and will alter the way the body reacts to these drugs.
Immediately after smoking the drug or injecting it intravenously, the user experiences an intense rush or "flash" that lasts only a few minutes and is described as extremely pleasurable.
Snorting or oral ingestion produces euphoria -- a high but not an intense rush. Snorting produces effects within 3 to 5 minutes, and oral ingestion produces effects within 15 to 20 minutes.
Unfortunately this drug is very addictive, and can have some rather nasty after effects. Especially for long term user, things like sleeping problems, anxiety, high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, mood swings, violent behaviour and number of health issues, sadly crystal meth users are also likely to take risks, to get a "hit" and are more susceptible to HIV, and Hepatitis, especially if injecting.
Short-term Effects Can Include:
Increased attention and decreased fatigue
Increased activity
Decreased appetite
Euphoria and rush
Increased respiration
Hyperthermia (body over heating)
Long-term Effects Can Include:
Dependence and addiction psychosis
Paranoia
Hallucinations
Mood disturbances
Repetitive motor activity
Stroke
Weight loss
Basically death can occur at any time, especially if cut/made with some other unknown substances. Death can occur with a single use, with a long term user and taking other drugs and or alcohol will also increase the risk of death. Especially if the user is taking undue risks to get a "hit".

Crystal methamphetamine is a powerful addictive stimulant that dramatically affects the central nervous system. Crystal's dangerous effects include an over stimulation of the body's adrenal glands, giving a temporary high. The user usually seeks the pleasures associated with the chemical reaction in the brain and a hyper drive effect on the body systems. The crystal user will experience hyper activity and inability to properly sleep and laziness. Crystal users may appear 'normal' for many years of use, but the hidden affects of methamphetamine are building up. Methamphetamine addiction is very damaging to the body and mind. Crystal Meth, like LSD or Ecstasy, has a longer effect on the body than other stimulants due to its crystal chemical structure and therefore stores deeply in the body fat and other tissues of the body. These fat cells and tissues break down with stress and age and can retrigger cravings in the body for the drug. All in All,crystal meth damages the body and mind and can eventually kill with prolonged use or overdose.
