Cut back and replace it with water. Do this slowly; you're probably right when you say you're addicted. Caffeine isn't a particularly harmful drug, but you're still going to have some withdrawal symptoms, so try swapping out one glass/can with water every 2-3 days until you've totally replaced your pop (or soda, depending on where you're from) with healthy H2O.

Start drinking water. Ice water! A lot of people will say, "eeew, no, I hate water, etc." but it IS a HABIT, and after awhile, you will crave it! And that's a GOOD thing, because it is healthy! After getting into the water habit, a drink of soda will taste nasty, and too sweet, and you'll really want to brush your teeth. Trust me!! I used to be totally addicted to diet cream soda and I haven't had one in probably 12 years.

First of all, i would like to commend you for wanting to give up on the unhealthy habit. It is hard giving up on coke, ive been through it but after suffering amoebic colitis (infected intestines) and nearly died, my doctor has told me to quit on it for life and even if he hasn't told, i would have quit still. Anyway my best friend is also faced with the same struggle of quitting on the coke, she just can't help it. Seemed like she made a thousand promises not to drink it anymore, but when she sees the sight of coke, all her promises melt like ice on fire. Anyway, it takes a lot of self-discipline. That's really what it takes to stop the habit. Try to pump your body with other forms of sugar like candies for a while so that your body will not run low of sugar and make you think of coke. It is hard but only the person involve can help herself with any form of addiction. I quit on a lot of addiction, TV, coke, fatty foods, and i learned that only I can teach myself and make myself quit. God bless you.

Picture this.
Your stomach and intestines have a lots of holes, and the holes get bigger as you drink more and more diet Coke.
And, when the holes get big enough, you gonna age very fast and die.

put diet coke and rat poison in the same container, and then put them both in your shelf. Then when you go to take a soda, you wont know if you have the diet coke or the rat poison. be careful.

People do what they want to do. If you really want to quit you will. When you have a craving for it, just ask yourself, what do I want more? to drink it, or to cut it out? If you don't want to quit badly enough, you never will, so you might as well just try to live with it, and drink it moderately. If there are really serious life-threatening reasons to quit, you probably will quit, if not, just don't worry about it.

Drink juice or flavored water. I gave up soda a few years ago and thats how I did it. It's hard at first but the longer you go the easier it gets.

Well they have caffeine in them so you are addicted to the caffeine. You should reduce your intake by one can a week. If you usually have 20 a week, cut it down to 19 until you are down to one a week. Just don't replace them with coffee or you'll be in trouble again!
