Is it too late for a growth spurt?
I'm 20 years old (female), 4'10, 110 lbs. My shoe size and height have stayed the same since the 6th grade (12 years old). Basically, I haven't changed much in 8 years (at all!). I was wondering if anyone knew when exactly does the average female stop growing? It's not just my height either... my body (at least from the waist up) looks like a child as well. Is there a chance to grow a lil more? =p

it's possible but i wouldn't count on it too much. i'd talk to your doctor because there are certain tests the can run to determine if you've stopped growing. but if it makes you feel any better my mom grew a little over an inch when I was born and she was 23 at the time. i know that most people also say that females stop growing around 17-18 but I actually grew a little over 2 inches after I started college so it is possible
(and believe me I understand how frustrating it feels to look younger than you actually are, I'm 28 and there are some people who still think I'm around 16 because I have a damn baby face. if I'm lucky people think I'm in my early 20's)

Have you seen a doctor recently and talked to him about this? I am concerned for you because I had the same problem at a younger age, no other symptoms. My doctor had a bad feeling, got me a CAT scan and found out that I had a brain tumor. It was stunting my growth and development. Now, just because that happened to me, does not mean that you have a tumor, but I think it would be a very good idea to get checked out just to make sure you are okay. After my tumor, I took growth hormone shots 3x's a week for 3 yrs. It is possible that that may be something that you can try. Just make sure and talk with your doctor, because there is a cut-off age and I don't know what age that is. Good luck to you and I hope everything turns out okay.
