How would you respond to a person who maintains that all sickness would be eliminated if people would belive more strongly in Jesus Christ?

i think im abnormally depressed during that time of the month, is there a special word for that? do you think its something i should see a doctor about? i dont ever want to do anything, i can wake up in the morning and be ok but by lunch time i just want to sit in my room, curl up in a ball, and cry. it usually only happens once a month, but it always happens. what should i do?

I am 5'3 and 130 pounds, my goal is 115 and that's my "skinny" weight. I have been eating 1200-1500 calories per day and my exercise consists of 2-4 miles of walking EVERY day plus an hour of cardio 3-4 times per week. I feel like I am doing everything right and I have lost ONE pound in the past 2 weeks! Seems really hard for one measley pound!

My mom is 44 and was diagnosed with emphysema about a year or so ago. She cut down on smoking, but she still smokes. Her emphysema was at the early stages when she was diagnosed, but she hasnt been checked since then.
Someone...please tell me how long she'll live...
You probably won't be able to tell...but an estimate would be nice...
I'd really like to know...
I'm so worried about her :-/

I am a type 1 diabetic and currently taking a minimal 40 mcg of clenbuterol a day to help me train. I know its not the wisest thing to do but I have had all the lectures I can take. I need to know if Clenbuterol can have a toxic effect on my insulin I am taking for my diabetes. I take Novolog. My blood sugars are higher because Clen reduces insulin sensitivity. I already know that. My question is how much does it reduce it and can it create a toxic effect mixing the two?

Thank You

i'm not really having a detox but for couple of weeks now that i have turned sort-of-vegetarian (means i gave up pork, meat, chicken etc. but i still eat sea food; shrimps, fishes etc.) but i've been eating vegetarian food almost every meals but sometimes seafood... and i'm beginning to feel some changes in my diet and my system ..i've been going to the toilet more often now...as well as loads of pimples popping up all over my forehead (they are healing now), and more comming all over my cheeks. i must say, though my pimples are popping up like mad, but my skin condition looked healthier.

i heard that detox cleans your body and so it cleans all the waste in your body as well thats why you have pimples? is that true? because i havent been changing my skincare routine at all so i cant be allergic to cosmetics or any products.

Can i take medical marijuana for pain and take anti-depression medication at the same time?
I’m taking anti depression medication (celexa, & Bupropion) for couple of months now. I also have pain in my joints that I have been taking pain medication with little improvements. Now I was thinking of using alternative relief like medical marijuana. Would I have to stop taking my other medications in order to use it?

I am taking Human Anatomy and we saw a video of a girl in surgery and I saw them take a tendon or ligament out to replace some cartilage, and I felt nausea and lightheaded like I was floating away. I put my head down to rest and I had like a five second dream of me falling and spinning, next thing I know I am on the floor, and nobody noticed. I am not generally squemish about blood or anything except this just happened out of the blue.

So twice I've been to the ER for severe abdominal pain (in the center and right below my sternum). Once in December of 2005 and again just yetsrerday. They put me through some tests yesterday, an abdominal flat & upright x-ray, bloodwork, as well as an abdominal ultrasound. The doctor says that there were no stones seen on eiter test, but scheduled me for a HIDA scan to be done on Tuesday, because he says that my gallbladder may not be functioning properly, if at all. Has anyone had this problem? Could I have gone for 2 years between attacks? Help! Whats going on with me?!?

I have been taking Lantus for oh, about 2 years and my doctor just recently told me (after telling me I was very overweight 180 at 5'3") that Lantus could be the cause of the weight gain. He said that the main side effect shown from Lantus was weight gain, which was more prevelant than with other standard insulins.

He then suggested I look into taking Levemir because studies for it have shown actual weight loss. The reason why it promotes weight loss is kind of unknown but anyway..

I was just wondering if anyone had switched and if they lost any weight (or noticed any other differences). Thanks!

My niece is 15 and for the past 3 months she has been to the doctor with sinus problems and aches all over her body like flu symtoms. The problem is she gets this way 5-6 times a month.
She told me that her bones ache and when I lightly touch her skin she will jump back and say that hurts please dont touch me. Then she told her mommy that when she goes out side the wind even blowing on her skin hurts. This is all with a head ache of which the doctor says is part of her sinus thing but my sister and I are worried becasue we have sinus problems but never aching body and bones and pain to the touch along with it. Please help us as she is not feeling good at all most of the time.

I was sexually molested by my biological father, and i know that sometimes the abuser becomes the abused, and i am just afraid that i may follow those footsteps! I am just scraed to death. i am a 20 year old female, i have been in a serious with my current bf for 4 years, and i am kinda just scared to have kids. I mean i've got it coming at me from two sides, my genteics, and statistcs saying that abused sometimes becomes the abuser. I mean, if i hadn't stopped him, i would have been raped, so i know i did good, and i would never want anyone to go through this........i guess i am ...well......this is just always in the back of my mind. u know? does anyone relate?

So, if I were to have unprotected sex with a girl and I don't know her history and she had HIV will I automatically get it? I'm totally gonna get tested, but is it a guaranteed thing - you do it once and you're screwed, or is it a 10% chance, 50%, 90% ??? Anyone have sure knowledge of this or a link to where I can find it?

I would like to replace my teeth with crab-meat. I saw a pamphlet in my old dentist's waiting room that gave information on replacing your teeth with crab-meat, but I have since then moved across the country to Washington State; I have yet to find another dentist who has even heard of the procedure before.

Is this some East-Coast thing, or has this practice faded out?
