i think im abnormally depressed during that time of the month, is there a special word for that? do you think its something i should see a doctor about? i dont ever want to do anything, i can wake up in the morning and be ok but by lunch time i just want to sit in my room, curl up in a ball, and cry. it usually only happens once a month, but it always happens. what should i do?

Yes, it's completely normal. It happens to me too - every month. It goes away, doesnt it? If it doesnt go away with menstruation, then you should start to worry. There is also a medicine (also homeopathic not hormonal) that can ease your PMS, but only doctor should suggest you what medicine to take.

See at times I have really bad PMS too. It can be horrible. If you feel its taking a toll on you and interfering with your life go to the doctor. It is very normal to feel sadness but not if its taking over your life...even if it is only for a few days.
