My niece is 15 and for the past 3 months she has been to the doctor with sinus problems and aches all over her body like flu symtoms. The problem is she gets this way 5-6 times a month.
She told me that her bones ache and when I lightly touch her skin she will jump back and say that hurts please dont touch me. Then she told her mommy that when she goes out side the wind even blowing on her skin hurts. This is all with a head ache of which the doctor says is part of her sinus thing but my sister and I are worried becasue we have sinus problems but never aching body and bones and pain to the touch along with it. Please help us as she is not feeling good at all most of the time.

How many times has she been to the doctor for these symptoms?
I agree that this sounds more serious than just sinus problems. The doctor should have done blood tests and investigated the problem more thoroughly. If she has seen the same doctor multiple times for this problem then it's time for a second opinion.

she may have a food alergy take her to the doctors and get a blood test for alergies , wheat or dairy are the main problems which can also trigger sinus , ear infection and other problems especially if it has gone undetected for a lot of years , also a good vitamin supplement she may be run down which with food alergies it can stop your body from absorbing vitamins in the digestive system, its worth a try

Poor thing, she could possibly just have a low immune system, she could be continually getting the flu. When i am sick, i experience the same type symptyms. She should most def get a flu shot. hope that helps! Hope she feels better!

Forget going to a normal doctor take her to the ER, that is insane and there is no reason for her to have to suffer like that. It could be something that they are overlooking, go get blood tests. Do not go to an HMO doctor! I hope she feels better soon, best of luck!

Get a second opinion. Even if it means paying for it out of your pocket. Her current doctor is not doing her any good. Something is obviously wrong.

you need to go to another doctor and get a 2nd opinion. In the mean time, try webMD. Its a website to find almost everything medical from a runny nose to cancer. you should check it out.
I hope she gets better.
