i'm not really having a detox but for couple of weeks now that i have turned sort-of-vegetarian (means i gave up pork, meat, chicken etc. but i still eat sea food; shrimps, fishes etc.) but i've been eating vegetarian food almost every meals but sometimes seafood... and i'm beginning to feel some changes in my diet and my system ..i've been going to the toilet more often now...as well as loads of pimples popping up all over my forehead (they are healing now), and more comming all over my cheeks. i must say, though my pimples are popping up like mad, but my skin condition looked healthier.

i heard that detox cleans your body and so it cleans all the waste in your body as well thats why you have pimples? is that true? because i havent been changing my skincare routine at all so i cant be allergic to cosmetics or any products.

Yes!

When the poisons leave your body they can get clogged in the skin pores and cause pimples and acne.

Keep your skin clean and use warm moist towels on your skin to open the pores to allow the toxins to leave your body more freely.

I am guessing you have lost weight on your new diet.

When your body starts burning stored fat cells they release toxins that were stored when you were consuming more toxins than your liver could handle at the time.

The breakouts should disappear after the poisons have been released.

Go to CVS or walgreens and buy a ig bag of Epsom salts to add to your bath. It will help draw toxins out of your body regularly.
I take two epsom salt baths a week. They are very relaxing and harmless i.e No side affects - completely NATURAL

Yu can even use it diluted as a mild astringent. It TOTALLY works. It's basically like the saline you'd get in an IV at the hospital, only you are using in on the outside.

there is no such thing as detoxing your alimentary canal. there is no built up or undigested food in your digestive system. that's BS. and it doesn't cause pimples. acne is caused by dirty oily skin. undigested food in your guts would cause a blockage and that would be a serious possibly fatal condition. sure your going to the potty more if your eating more vegetables because your consuming more fiber.as far a the pimples are concerned I can't see why a change in diet would cause them, especially a change from more fat to less fat. maybe you were allergic to something you ate. you may be developing a reaction to seafood, especially if you were not used to eating much of it in the past. or maybe it's acne.

Detox does not bring pimples to your skin. In the year 1989, I was diagnosed with valve prolapse and acute mastoditis and since I am allergic to certain medicinal pills my doctor advised me to undergo cleansing diet, no oil, no salt diet. So for a year I only take fruits and boiled or steamed vegetables and fish, but no seafood. According to the doctor seafoods are not good for cleansing and prone to cancer. So refrain from eating seafood and only take fruits and boiled or steamed veggies and fish. Try this diet for two months and see for yourself the outcome. Try to sleep 8 hours to make your skin glow and supple. Good luck

Plan active dates together with your hubby, such as bowling as well as golfing, instead of dinner and also a movie.
