Okay, here it goes..I have the goal set on myself to loose 30 pounds by the end of July. I've been drinking nothing but water, eating 3 meals, and 3 snacks a day, and exercising 5 days a week. Do you think this will help me reach my goal? I'm eating a variety of healthy foods including fresh fruit and low calorie snacks. I'm really trying hard to reach my goal. Is this a good goal and do you think that I can reach it but July?

I use alcohol as a soporific. Started years ago with one/day....built up to 3. I don't get "drunk" (except on rare occassions with friends). I don't get personality changes. No alcholism in my family. I'd like to cut back to 1-2 per day.

Does anyone know anything that works better than phenregan for nausea. I am sooo sick, been sick since last Wednesday. The Penergran is about as effective as tic-tacs. I saw my Dr. again yesterday. He did nothing but add an antibotic which just increased the nausea. If I knew of something better, I would ask him for it.

In what ways did you like your therapist, and in what ways did you feel something may have been missing from psycho-therapy (if any)?
Do you find that it indeed helped you develop into the person you are today/beneficial to your well-being and help you help yourself w/resolving some life challenges?

I just came back from a trip to Colorado. It was my first time snowboarding. My first day I fell, tripped, scrapped and hurt my body from learning how to snow board. I went three days straight and now back at home I am really sore. Is there anything that can drastically help the soreness go away? Or any way to get rid of bruises and cuts fast?

Other than the throwing up and feeling like she has the flu, her implants are not giving her any problems, ie pain. No fever, just sick to her stomach. Is this normal.

Whenever im about to get my "monthly" i get MAJOR pms. Im talking bad bad bad mood swings. After the bad mood swing occurs I get the sudden case of sadness. I get really sad for whatever reason. I know i go through this because of pms, but im wondering if there is any kind of medicine I can take that can calm me down a bit. I hate the fact that I throw my boyfriend through a loop when I go through this every month. It's very annoying.

Hello,
I have naturally blonde, wavy hair a few inches past my shoulders. I usually straighten it every day. Lately, I've been getting really bored with my hair. I was thinking about cutting it short and dying it a lighter blonde, like Ashlee Simpson's hair. Here's a picture: http://www.beautyriot.com/article.php?id=3805&c_id=76 I'm very petite with light features and blue eyes. My face is also very petite. I'm just so bored with my long hair... I was going to let it grow, since I regretted cutting it a year ago, but I think I just might be ready for a change. What do you guys think?

Around this time of year, my b-friend goes into a funk, grieving for a dead fiance who died in a car crash 8 years ago. He misses her very much and is very, very sad. The problem is that I am in his life and he seems to be rejecting me since he is comparing how he felt when he was with her vs. how he feels with me. I'm very torn since I am certain I cannot possibly compete with the memory of a dead woman and should bail, but isn't it jerky of me to bail on someone who's hurting so badly? Shouldn't I wait until he's out of his funk? Otherwise, he's a healthy, happy person who has a wide variety of interests and energy. Should I wait until he's out of his funk to talk to him about really letting go? Is it possible to assess that he'll never let go and if I stick around, I'll face rejection every year about this time?

My best friend is completely depressed because one her closest guy pals has been forbidden from having anything to do with her by his girlfriend. Basically everything was fine until another friend let slip to his girlfriend that years ago they had a one night stand. It was absoultely years ago and they were only ever mates - nothing in it whatsoever - just a drunken fumble when they were both single and he had never even met this new girlfriend. The girl has now forbidden her boyfriend from having anything to do with my friend and this means she has been cut out of the social circle more or less completely. We are all in our 30s and this situatin is just silly - I feel so bad for her and have advised that she talks to the girlfriend. Can anyone else offer advice on this one?
