Im 23 and have been having regular and normal flow during period. Since the last 3-4mths, my flow is getting lesser and now, i only need to use pantyliner during my period instead of normal day and night pad. Why?????

My family has history of females unable to get pregnant. Does this symptom spells that I might be infertile? I always thought that only those who are going to menopause will have lesser flow....

Please help... Im very frightened now....

I used to believe that. My mother was told by a doctor that the candy she ate caused her diabetes, while I was still in my early teens. At that point, I quit putting sugar on my cereal, avoided sweets, and learned to like unsweetened foods. Well, guess what.... 35 years later, I find out I'm diabetic. No, folks... it's not sugar. It's genetic predisposition, poor diet, poor weight management, and sedentary lifestyle (lack of exercise). Since adopting a rather comprehensive lifestyle change, I've found that managing your blood sugar is not that difficult if you're willing to make a few easy changes in your routine. I sprained my finger yesterday by hitting it off a desk by accident, and my finger went back. So i left school, went to the walk-in and the doctor examined my finger and said that it was just a sprain because I was moving it too well for it to be anything too serious. He didn't send me for x-rays because he said I didn't need one at all. Anyways, he suggested a splint, so he gave me one, as well as to apply ice on it, and to flex it a bit but not too roughly. I've been doing all that, but I noticed that the purple spot on my finger widened a bit [ my finger was normal in color, except for the purple spot by my knuckle ]. It just looks like a bruise. My mum said it was normal because it was healing. Today, I looked again and the purple spot got lighter. So I'm not really sure.

Should I be concerned?

Around a month and a half ago i took the morning after pill for the first time, even though it was a small risk i was pregnant. About 2 weeks later i thought i had started my period but it was wasnt normal (brown and light) but this eventually went normal(ish) after a few days so i started to take the pill for the first time. It's now over a month later and my period still hasn't stopped its been going for about 38 days now, but it's light and brown so not a normal period at all. I went to the doctor last week and he said to just carry on taking the pills without taking a seven day pill free week. He thought it might stop it, but it has had no change. Sometimes i notice that it almost stops a few hours after i take the pill, maybe i need a higher dose? It's really awful and annoying i just want it to do go away basically! any advice appreciated thanks. note:. i have not been sleeping with my boyfriend lately cos of this.

I just got my wisdom teeth extracted twelve hours ago and the bleeding won't stop. I think the stitches on the top got loose and now there's blood everywhere. It's a weekend so I don't know what will happen if I call them-- and Monday is Martin Luther's.

I've been biting gauze since I got out of the clinic and I've had an ice pack twice for the swelling. I'm just waiting for morning so I can call the office. Is there anything I can do to keep the bleeding down?

I was in a hummvee accident in iraq in Nov 2004. I had lower back pain since then. Now I've been told I lost some feeling in my left leg and my upper back is real tender so if you touch it hurts. I got an xray from the VA hospital and they say part of my lower spine was missing. I went to military doctor and they said everything was normal but I hurt more when I do exercises or stand and sit for long periods of time. Its been 2 years and it still hurts everyday even if I even stopped medication cause it doesn't work. I'm in Germany now and thinking about going to the doctors over cause they pretty can find anything and keep you in the hospital til they find out whats wrong unlike back in the states.

Hi there, I know this yahoo answers service is no substitute for medical advice but i just thought i would run the following symptoms by you to see if anyone could either relate to them or if someone knew what these symptoms were pointing to. Thanks

My symptoms:

Anxiety/panic attacks/sense of dread and fear (the anxiety has caused me to have physical symptoms such as lethargy, difficulty breathing, an irregular heartbeat, hyperventilation etc)

I have a sensation of something being in my sternum area (in the centre of the chest, in line with the navel but located under both pectorals) This sensation is worse in the morning and i don't know, it just feels like something may be under the skin there. This is not painful but concerning.

In the last 3 months or so i have put on over a stone in weight

BP normal however at usually 117-139/75-90.

Feels like restricted nasal passages, esp in morning

Can cause Tachycardia or Brady, dependent on situation,

I'm 19 and I've always had bf s who used condoms. Now I'm on the pill. My old Bf s seemed to *** a few teaspoons of sperm in the condom. My new man (who is older than earlier bf s - he is 39) seems to always produce about 3 or 4 tablespoons full and it is much thicker and much whiter. I've not said anything to him but I don't think it is normal.

I also have a new problem now I'm on the pill - I leak for about 2 days and it does start to smell after a while (fishy). I've tried using pantie liners but this is just uncomfortable and smelly. I used a tampon last week - but this ended up smelling worse. How do you get the *** to come out. I've tried sitting on the loo - but it wont come out. It seems to start dribbling out the morning after when I'm at work to make it worse.

Help.
