Warm water on a wash cloth.

There is a product called something like O-C-D sold in the drugstore to remove denture adhesive. I don't recall the exact name, but it's just 3 letters. I do not know if it works, but it was developed for exactly this problem.

Just brush the inside of your mouth with a soft toothbrush and toothpaste, but if you need the denture glue you really don't have a proper fit. I have worn a upper denture 40 years and have never used anything to hold them in. Might be time for new ones.

Fixadent is the best........use the right amount, when you remove the dentures, rinse mouth with mouth wash and hot water, use a tooth brush to brush gums and then rinse with cold water. It works well with me. Good luck.
