Im 23 and have been having regular and normal flow during period. Since the last 3-4mths, my flow is getting lesser and now, i only need to use pantyliner during my period instead of normal day and night pad. Why?????

My family has history of females unable to get pregnant. Does this symptom spells that I might be infertile? I always thought that only those who are going to menopause will have lesser flow....

Please help... Im very frightened now....

Without regard to fertility, your 3 to 4 month change in menses should lead you to consult your gynecologist, even if just by phone. You can explore the family fertility issue with him/her at any point.

Your flow is not necessarily an indicator of fertility. When I was on BCP, and before when I was younger before BCP, I had a heavy flow. Well, I do not ovulate, so I cannot get pregnant without help. So, I do not think flow is an indicator, given my circumstances. I would ask your OB/GYN though

Salaam sis. you should use prayer beads for the period of your menses. My mom does that each and each human being the time. you only won't be able to pray or contact the Quran till you're sparkling. Any questions- only message me sis =D Salaam

I'm a nurse. I would consider being checked by a doctor to find out. You did state that it runs in your family, see a doctor to put your mind at ease.

you mean menstruation/menstrual cycle. im not sure but its better if you go see an OB Gyne. using only a panty liner?it means that's so little blood.im not sure if that means you're infertile but im sure that's something serious. sorry to tell you this but consult an expert.

No.. You can start a "light flow" because of diseases, drug use, and tons of other factors though.

If you are that worried about it, perhaps you should see your doctor.
