If you are having it done by keyhole.You could be of work a few days .But if you are having it done on your bikini line .Be prepared for about six weeks recovery .And you should be careful not to lift anything heavy Also you have to wait awhile be for you can resume driving .Take care.

I had it done and went home in a day and had the next day off just because I had an excuse to have a day off really, I didn't need it at all because you're absolutely fine by the following day!

About 2 days if it's keyhole and under local anaesthetic. Longer if general and invasive.

What procedure are you having done, tubaligation? You should have been told all of this up front by the doctor, didn't you ask?
