Hello,
I have naturally blonde, wavy hair a few inches past my shoulders. I usually straighten it every day. Lately, I've been getting really bored with my hair. I was thinking about cutting it short and dying it a lighter blonde, like Ashlee Simpson's hair. Here's a picture: http://www.beautyriot.com/article.php?id=3805&c_id=76 I'm very petite with light features and blue eyes. My face is also very petite. I'm just so bored with my long hair... I was going to let it grow, since I regretted cutting it a year ago, but I think I just might be ready for a change. What do you guys think?

I think if you want to cut your hair, you should go for it. I had waist-length golden blonde hair by the time I graduated highschool. My first year of college, it got shorter and redder, even auburn. By the end of my first semester sophomore year had it in an inverted bob (high in back and angled down the jawline) and pitch black. My husband wasn't particularly excited, but it hadn't been so high maintenance, I might have actually kept it. I loved it like that.

I say: Cut it...go for a current hairdo. I never had my hair short before in my life... and about six months ago, I had the top spiked and the back tapered. I loved it but have since decided to let it grow back to chin length. It was a nice change for awhile and now I want something new again. Good luck !!!
