Does anyone know anything that works better than phenregan for nausea. I am sooo sick, been sick since last Wednesday. The Penergran is about as effective as tic-tacs. I saw my Dr. again yesterday. He did nothing but add an antibotic which just increased the nausea. If I knew of something better, I would ask him for it.

You could ask him for some compazine or zofran. The zofran is effective but it is very expensive.

Wow. We love phenergan- they gave it to me when I was puking in labor&delivery- better right away. Boyfriend has taken it for nausea with pain meds- better right away. You must be bold with your doctor. Say, "The phenergan is not cutting it. You must give me something better."

If the phenergan isn't working, then you need to call the doctor and tell him. He'll recommend something stronger for you and phone in a script for it. Calling him and telling him what you want is bad form. But, he does need to know that it's not working, so give him a call. : )
