I am a writer so I use the computer a lot! Yesterday, I noticed a small tingling when I used my right hand. It's intermittent. It's not happening now. I also noticed it in my right thumb after I exercised. Do you think maybe I am waking up muscles that were asleep? Does it sound like Carpel Tunnel syndrome? Smile. Thanks

Ok I just posted a question bout this but most people are thinking that Im bitting the skin round my nails..no in fact I dont bite my nails.I bite my skin that is on the inner part of my hand till I bleed. I even take nail clippers and cut all of the skin on the inside of my hand. I do it till I cant use my hands at all to do dishes,clean etc. I have bandaids all over my hands from this. People tell me to stop and I just can't..I do it usually when I'm watching t.v and most of the time I dont realize it till I'm bleeding. Some people told me that I can get flesh eating disease from this and I stopped for awhile but now I have started right up again. I know this is a weird habit and No I do not need any rude remarks please...I get enough of that from everyone I know...If you have a good answer or have the same habit please help...thanks

i quit smoking 4 months ago and i just started coughing yesterday its so bad i can barley breath it hurts and tastes gross my chest feels heavy and well im miserably i cant sleep because of it please give me some advice on how to quit smoking i cant stifly the coughs and i have a very professional job thanks for the support-mandi

I dont know what this is but sometimes when I go to sleep I get a loud ringing in my ear and my heart starts racing real fast or flutters, then my body starts to tremble all over I can't seem to wake up when this happens, I tell myself that I am dying in my sleep, so I try to yell for someone and can't come out of whatever it is, I can actually hear whats going on around me while all this is happening has this ever happened to anyone or do you know what it could be. Its really scary it don't happen allot but I don't want to go back to sleep for awhile after this happens..please help

The last two days I have had swollen lymph nodes on the right side of my neck. Today I had a stuffy nose on that side, and my ear was stopped up for a time on that same side.

I have been taking Echinacea with Goldenseal, Vitamin C, Juice Plus, and some Digestive Enzymes.

Will tea tree oil applied topically help? Anything else you can think of that would be good to take?

He got it done like 14 days ago. Except for the fact that he didnt get it profesionally done. And got it done from a friend with one that he made.He has one too tho that he made, and has a bunch of tattoos that have never gotten infected. And they're both very good with changing their needles. It's all red and kind of swollen, and he said it doesnt really hurt that bad anymore. It hasnt scabbed over and when he washes it and puts lotion on it, it hurts. Is it infected? What should he do, when should he do it?

My husband fell asleep the other night and has no movement in his wrist. he went to the emergency room and was diagnosed with radial arm palsy, also known as saturday night palsy.

has anyone had this before? does anyone know how long this will last? i keep reading up on it and it doesn't give a specified recovery time.

we're wondering how long he may be out of work.

please please only respond if you know anything about this or have had it before. it is a very serious situation and i'm not in the mood for the idiots on here.

Okay, heres the full deal. I just got over a kidney infection , so i thought. It was the first time after i had the infection i wore a thong,it realy hurt, so i came home and took it off. There was blood. And its been doing that for three days, aswell my sides hurt, and my back. I'm13. And I havn't started my period yet. I'm scared of doctor's, and I only wanna tell my mom if it'smy period for sure. So please no answers like " go to the doctors, please!" if they cant i know they should always use protection to stop their partner gettin it but what should they do when they want to settle down and have kids. i heard of a booster injection they can get before they have unprotected sex. this is meant to stop their partner gettting it and to hopefully stop their kids from being born with it. can babies be really born with it and is there such an injection or medication to do this?

I want to lose weight...right now I'm 6'3-6'4 and 115-120 pounds and I want to lose my weight so that I'm 100 pounds. But I don't know what to do...should I run, jog, swim, cycle, do weight training or order a fitness program? But even if I do these things, will I actually lose weight? I mean, the fat will be burnt but since it's replaced but muscles how would that make my weight go down?
