The last two days I have had swollen lymph nodes on the right side of my neck. Today I had a stuffy nose on that side, and my ear was stopped up for a time on that same side.

I have been taking Echinacea with Goldenseal, Vitamin C, Juice Plus, and some Digestive Enzymes.

Will tea tree oil applied topically help? Anything else you can think of that would be good to take?

Thanks! (If you make a recommendation, please tell me if it is something you have tried personally, or have just heard about.)

I don't have a sore throat, but I am going to try this on the inside of my nose in just a few minutes. Thanks for the suggestion.

Sometimes it doesn't matter what alternative medicines we take, if you are run down or there is a bug around that takes a particular liking to you, you will come down with it.
I presume you have had a sore throat as well? At the first sign of a sore throat or runny/stuffy nose I rub tree tea oil on the inside of my nose. Use a cotton-bud or even the end of your little finger to do this. If you use a cotton-bud just make sure you don't poke it up your nose to far! Re-apply when you feel the need to, although be careful if the skin around your nose becomes red and sore as the tea tree oil can sting. Remember to use the oil last thing at night before you go to sleep, as it will work while you are sleeping.
Within 24 hours you should feel relief.
I have used this method for many years and it works for me.
One other product you may consider taking is bee pollen or propolis, either as granules or capsules. To find out more about propolis look it up on the internet.
