I am taking cephalexin for a skin infection. Is it safe to take olive leaf extract also? Any info is greatly appreciated!

No problem as long as you don't exceed the recommended dosages. I like OLE for all kinds of infections, esp. viral ones, along with oil of oregano and lotsa vitamin C and A (don't take A if you may be pregnant; it can cause birth defects in high doses during pregnancy). Garlic is good for infections too, but may dampen your social life. Eat plenty of high quality protein too to make antibodies and lotsa white blood cells. Good luck!
(Tea tree oil kills the heck out of skin bugs of all kinds).

Yep,olive leaf is a great anti-inflammatory,and is great anti-fungal.Best to take olive leaf orally so that it can heal you from the inside out.You can also apply tea tree oil directly to the affected area to get rid of acne.(try any health food store)

I wouldnt bother - plenty of natural products inhibit (block) either the absoption or the activity of drugs. Let the med do its work first, then wait a few weeks before you decide if you want to take it....
