I don't get it why is it that lots of girls trash talk about them is it because they can't affored them or because they are jealous?????

All of you have great points I believe that if you want them just because for yourself and not to make noone else happy then go for it but do research on what it is you are getting.

Definitely NOT jealous here. More like I don't want them to go through the back/neck/shoulder pain that big breasts DO come with. I was well endowed naturally and loathed it.
Apparently 'the grass is greener on the other side'. Those who are big want to be small, those who are small want to be big.

Because there can be lots of complications that result right away and even more over time. That is why for the most part, the health risks associated with the implants, leaking, rippling, tearing, being alergic to what they are made out of... many complications.
Some are probably because they can't afford them, but more because they know and understand the risks associated with the implants and having to live with the consequences.

It's none of the above. They talk trash about them because they're disgusting. It's not necessary for a person to augment what they're parents give them in order to help perpetuate what magazines tell you you should look like.

It's because they are (in most situations) a sign of someone who is willing to spend a ton of money to completely vain ends.
However, I don't think it matters in general. Hell, I even considered getting them myself, back when I was an 18 year old with nearly-A boobs. If someone feels bad about themselves (legitimately--not "I only have a C cup and want guys to stare at my chest), then they should be able to fix it.

You bring up good points. Another might be that we think of implants as being purchased by insecure people who think their life will be better when they are bigger. (They don't need larger breasts, they need real friends.)
We frequently forget that implants help women that have had a mastectomy look and feel whole again.

its because you don't need huge boobs to look sexy.EDIT: I have a friend who's had double radical mascectomies because ofcancer, and she didn't get a breast augmentation because everyone teased her that now she can have the boobs she always wanted. And look at thecelebrities who brag about their boob job! Pamela Anderson Pulease!

Or they are right when they think it's ridiculous.
Why would you EVER want to put a foreign object like that into your body unless it was to save your life - like a pace maker.
We need to learn to accept our bodies. Love ourselves for who we are. It's a shame so many feel they have to increase their breast size to feel "sexier" or look more appealing.

Maybe because those females can accept their appearance the way they are & don't believe cosmetic surgery it the right way to gain self esteem.

yes. chances are girls like them are worried about getting fat, so they work out, they completely loose their boobs, but still don't want to get fat, so where is there to turn?
