Do they actually have nerve tissue running through them so it's painful or when you break a bone is it the muscle tissue surrounding the injury that causes the pain??

The funny bone is a nerve in the elbow, I had surgery once to put it into place a year ago, and it does hurt, plus I think it slipped again when I fell! Go to the doctor!
