I was supposed to fast 13 hours prior to having lab work, primarily for glucose and liver function. How will my wine consumption affect the results? (I apologize for my ridiculous mistake :()...

One glass.....probably irrelevant....

more than that.....reschedule the appointment....

Your blood ethanol/alcohol level will just have a little higher number attached to it. It may throw the glucose level off (more glucose, I'm guessing). But if they're doing lab work, they're looking for something big and obvious, and wine 7 hours ago can certainly be taken into accout with the readings if you tell them you had wine 7 hours ago, and how much. If they ask you to come back instead, oh well.

you might as well been eating sugar. drinking wine before a blood test is a no-no.

you have to redo the test - wine has calories - the test is invalid

if you have not had it - reschedule - it costs too much to do it twice
