Thats not logical. If its solid its got calories in it and grapes are quite high in calories in comparison with other fruits. Its grapefruits that this 'negative' myth revolves around and I dont believe its true. On the other hand, apples contain a substance called pectin that coats the intestines from the inside and decreases the absorbance of fat. So while they are moderate in calories, they also help you 'not gain' weight.

There is no such thing as a food with "negative calories." It's a myth. The human body is too efficient to expend more calories than it takes in during digestion.

The first source explains it the best.

Think about it. If it were true, then vegetarians would die of starvation.
