Wish I knew- but congratulations and please whatever you do STICK WITH IT!
I just quit for the umpteenth time, too...
but for new love, I might just refrain from ashtray mouth, you know?
It could be any reason in the world, but stick with it!
Picture your lungs cleaning themselves, because that's what they're doing. Picture healing, not suffering. You'll be fine!

If you quit 4 months ago and just now started coughing, then it's probably just a cough or cold. Use some throat lozenges and go to the doctor when you get a chance.

However, you later say that you need advice on quitting smoking. Have you quit or not?

I don't understand your question. You say you quit smoking 4 months ago but want advice on how to quit? If indeed you quit 4 months ago, the cough is not from that. You may have a cold. If it doesn't let up, see your doctor.

Hi !!!!

Congratulations!!!!

But my advise to you is make an appointment with your doctor, and ask him for a referral to a lung doctor. If you were smoking for X amount of time, is better to have your lungs checked by a specialist.

Don't take any chances!!!! what ever you do, at this time will have an impact later!!!

GOD BLESS, HAVE A HAPPY LIFE

I know someone who couldn't stop coughing and it was lung cancer. See your physician pronto.
