Sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome, which is what I have. Nothing seems to alleviate it for very long. I wear a wrist brace at night, but I still have numbness and pain, often in both hands. It is caused by repetitive motion--typing, tennis, golf, anything involving continuous, repetitive use of the hands--so basically the only long-term treatment is to stop doing whatever it is that's causing the problem. At the least, you need to minimize the problem by switching to different tasks periodically. Physical therapy or chiropractic therapy can help by relieving pressure on the nerves leading from the spine into the arm. They can also show you stretches and exercises to do that make the tendons more flexible.

Sounds like the nerves that come from your spind down your arm are being pinched. Need some physical therapy. Or ya know, you can just go see a Dr. or something and get off yahoo.

Sounds to me like you have Carpel Tunnel. Try wearing a wrist brace at night when you sleep.

I had that same problem just right before I went to my doctor to get diagnosed.

try sleeping on your back..its poor circulation maybe .. but if you lay in bed or sit in a chair using your back against something you may be pressing on a nerve that will later do this.We have found if we use the computer alot this happens.. its just one of those things caused by overuse..
