I'm a 22 year old student who is 5'11" and 280lbs. I used to be a dancer, very slender and toned before I killed my knees dancing. I am now overweight, and don't want to be. I need help creating a safe exercise and eating plan. Can anyone give me some good guidelines to start with???

I have completely changed the way I eat, nothing but healthy food, no eating after 7, and drinking nothing but water, with a glass or two of skim milk a day. I walk/jog 2 miles every night, and work out in the mornings. I have been doing this for a week and a half, not long I know..but I have GAINED 10 LBS...WHY???

it looks red it did hurt at first but once i put it under cold water and antiseptic cream on it the pain stopped after a day or so. it looks to have a blister ontop but im not sure how long it will take to go pls help me :(

My boyfriend of 4 years (and daughters father) started using heroin 2 months ago. He hadn't done any for 1 out of 2 of these months, but went back to using recently. He went into SWFAS (a detox) and should be getting out later this afternoon. Do I have a chance of getting his old self back? I feel with the power of god on my side I do, but then wonder if I am being ignorant. I know this drug is the hardest to quit, even more so than smoking ciggarettes! I don't want to give up on him, I feel he is my soul mate. Please HELP me.

I've been coughing since yesterday...but when I cough my lungs hurt..or something hurts...like when i breath too. I was at work the other day and I didn't have a jacket and it was really really cold outside and they made me sweep the floor and I was freezing for one hour...did i catch something...oh and today I woke up very very weak and sleepy...what can it be? i will be able to go to the doc until next week.....any advice please?

I got the "shot" and I wanted know how soon you would start to feel the side effects. When I got it I felt dizzy shortly thereafter and had a headache but once I went to bed it was fine. What's up with the decrease in sex drive? How soon will you gain weight? So far my appetite has been the same

I am very concerned I may be pregant, but I never actually had sex. See my boyfriend and I were fooling around and he pre-cummed a little, and then a lil later(about 4 mins) he started to rub his penis around the outside of my vagina. Let the Modern matron have the power the old matrons had. Standards have dramatically slipped with the dramatic increase in non nursing/medical people taking the reigns and constantly looking for ways to save money. You don't allow un licensed people behind a steering wheel of a car alone or it will crashExample terminally ill 58year old bowel almost totally obstructed was to have an altered texture diet - puréed almost like paste. Saturday morning Chef of sick, manager will not allow anything other than weetabix, toast or cornflakes!!!!!!! So sorry Mum they left you to starve on those days! The manager didn't not allow us to bring in an alternative i.e. soup fromage frai etc because its against Health and safety rules! Oh and the poor staff themselves couldn't leave the ward to have a hot meal on a 23 hour shift because it took to long for there breaks. The manager STOPPED the outside company who delivered fresh food sandwiches, pasta, salad etc because it looked BAD on the hospital.

Ive been on the pill for 5 years now, only had one scare! But...just lately i have been carrying on as usual but for some reason i have managed to have 5 periods this month!!???!! Im well confused!
